I am really starting to feel very worried about where this club is heading at the moment. The most scaring part is that I don't think Thohir has a very good view what needs to be done. The guy lives in the other side of the world. It sadly will never work well. Thohir needs to be present a lot more or appoint new guy as a professional president. ET didn't even want to be the president in the first place.

Edit.

First Vidic, then Evra and now Nani. ET wants every Manu player he can have.

In 2010 there was a challenge for winning the Champions League, and Inter prevailed . Four years later , Bayern Monaco is the giant par excellence of European football while the Nerazzurri went through a period of worrying decline. From your editorial for Four Four Two Italian , Xavier Jacobelli presented his vision for the club right now , starting with the purchase of Hernanes : "You can not preach in the wilderness , it should be only the first stone for the reconstruction of a team worthy of its name , its prestige, its history and its fans . Erick Thohir is already a worthy cause because he saved to a company that was in danger of being crushed by it's statements . Now it is called upon to determine who does what, who's in charge in the market, who decides how to act. The fiasco Vucinic -Guarin must be the last . Inter year zero pays the lack of planning that there was after the Bernabeu . (...) Even Bayern fell but has reared its head and is back on top of the world. Inter can go back, but Thohir must make the revolution and not the leopard . "

yeah putting the pressure on ET for MM's fuck ups! Rome wasn't built in a day...neither will Inter be rebuilt in a day!He is here 3-4 months and he has already done what MM didn't do in 3-4 years!Fired Branca! And he will do much more with time I feel.
I feel we have the right president now...one who isn't afraid to fire incompetent directors, one who doesn't employ favourites but rather those who are most competent. And if Fassone,Ausilio,Mazzarri will continue to fuck up...they will be fired too!
ET won't do things with too much passion like MM did(blinded with love for Inter...which made him do dumb things as well) but will do it smarter.

However this is tough...balancing the books and trying to reach a higher level. As I said we won't be at the top instantly...we will need time like he said.2 or 3 years of hard work for ET and the mgmt.

Roma President isnt in Rome.

But they maybe have different kind of structure than Inter. I don't know. Moratti & Mazzarri both said in interviews this week that ET should be present more so some kind link is clearly missing. ET needs to appoint someone to handdle day to day decisions so he doesn't need to take a part in every situation.

We need a Galliani-like figure, I believe Leonardo played a similar role at PSG as well. Maybe Angelomario?

You mean the VP? Isn't Angelomario already our VP?

Or if you're talking about Leonardo's role (he's a director of football, in charge of transfers and shaping the team), I would rather have professionals than family members and club legends in charge of that.

Moratti has always been in italy. What does it make any differences?

Are you now referring to the situation before or at the moment? Because Moratti isn't working for the club anymore but I think you meant this moment compared to before, right?

IMO for example that Vucinic - Guarin saga happened because ET was away and wasn't that well informed about the situation. Also it was part because ET was new for these things. At Inter Moratti was so long part of almost every important situations. Now that has been changed dramatically but ET is supposed to be in that same Moratti role and it is not possible. Everyone still thinks ET is like Moratti was or at least wants him to be. For instance Mazzarri was talking about that he would like to talk to the president more often.

I think that it will take a time to get used to this new situation but maybe it would help if there would be someone who takes care of these little things when Thohir is not present. Or then there is just need for better directors. Branca is already gone now so maybe Inter could bring in someone who knows better what he is doing. At Milan it worked pretty well even when Berlusconi was the prime minister so I have no doubts Inter can do the same.

But he stopped that no good deal and fired the man that was going to make the same deal. It's a message to others that stupid deals with rival clubs will not be tolerated. Isn't that enough? Being in Italy or not, he did what a good businessman does- and that's a normal thing.

Yeah, because you have a good view over there in Finland. Don't underestimate ET, he's no fool and has invested a lot of money into buying the club. Until he came here, there was nothing being done (transfers) by those who were "experts" and knew what "needed" to be done. Thohir came, took care of things and one of those with good views got fired already. So, reconsider your worry, and look at things in a different perspective - like it was mentioned with the case of Moratti above too.

Seriously? :chan:

What it matters what flag I have in my profile? Would I look smarter to you if I had Italian flag on it?

If someone has invested money in Inter that doesn't make him smart or fool.

If you had not put that first sentence there then I could have taken your post seriously.
