the more money epl clubs make, the more theyre going to be charged. i dont think there is 1:1 correlation between revenue and purchasing power. it will plateau after a certain point.

although transfer fees aside, the salaries are epl's biggest weapon imo.

Mkhitaryan deal was 26 Million pounds and that's what is reported by all the English media.

Also for a foreign league, it's not a good news. What English clubs are doing is signing the best available players. They are also getting big managers.

when did kramaric sign for chelsea?

also, why the "tbc"? if it hasnt been confirmed you can't write it off as a done deal.

Kramaric's transfer did cost 10m but he was transfered to Hoffenheim, not Chelsea.

yeah, but england cant possibly keep all those players happy, and not all of them will adapt. By splashing the cash on these guys, if they fail to adapt, their values will plummet, and they wont be able to get reasonable comparable salaries elsewhere. Arguably the ones who fail will be made cheaper for other buyers.

With forward devaluation of the pound looking likely, too, these players get cheaper for European clubs vs England to match their £-value demand

I read the wrong column at transfermarkt. He has moved to Hoffenheim. Edited.

I can. And I did. So sue me.

This is not a list for lawyers. I cannot accertain how many of these are done deals, I haven't seen if papers have been deposited. As far as I know, these deals are as good as done. Now if Sane fails his medical, I won't include him in the next update... so whats the big deal?

Mkhitaryan deal was 26 Million pounds and that's what is reported by all the English media.

I just used transfermarkt.com for consistency of numbers.

it just seems unnecessary. why label deals with "to be confirmed" if you don't know they will be confirmed? as far as you know, you don't really know anything concrete until the club makes it official with the league.

Possibly Pending or In Progress would be more appropriate for them.

Am I the only one who thinks Cunt-e is in for a major failure in premier league with Chelsea? His style of play doesn't seem that can have succes there. Just my opinion

I think his tactical superiority will outclass most managers tbh. EPL teams typically rely on pace and technique, and rarely encounter teams who play like Conte's teams do.

What I'm confused by is why he hasn't spent money to buy a proper defender.

Ranieri just won there. Why not Conte (if he manages to bring out the best in certain players)

I think Conte is overrated tactically. I mean even with Italy all he did was try to build a poor man's Rube. He's not flexible at all. The formation is also a big question mark.

He is a pretty good motivator and likes hard working players, so I can see that working in his favour. I think Mourinho's biggest problem there was that he lost the locker room.

What you said would have been true if the league is full of English managers. In the league we have jose, pep, klopp, poch, koeman who are all tactically very good.

I have a bad feeling that Mou will fail. Anyway, it was hard to choose but my list of favorite teams/coaches this season in EPL is:

1. ManUtd/Spurs - head-to-head I'll support whoever is doing worst atm I guess
2. Klopp
3. Pep

I hope Conte gets fired, Rubentino pos, but I don't think he will. He seems to know his shit, he's close to players, usually inspires loyalty, he might surprise many. I can't see him winning anything big though, unless he develops and diversifies his approach a bit. If you can't find a place in your team for a guy like Oscar then you have got a problem imo
