Fools! They should have let "Fat Sam" have another go. Sure he's bent, but was undefeated

Let’s see what he can cook, their defender options are underwhelming IMO and to win tournament, it’s the key.

If England had never had a foreign manager previously, I might be able to take these complaints about Tuchel a bit more seriously.

Seeing as how they already had SVG as their manager for five years and later had Capello as well, I really couldn't give two shits about the English and their xenophobia towards Tuchel. That there aren't any English managers worth a shit interested in the job is a reflection on a terrible culture and system for educating prospective coaches. Tuchel is a CL-winning manager (with an English club no less), has won league titles, and has managed multiple globally-known clubs. He shits all over any English candidates there were for the managerial position. In addition, he actually has a background coaching in the Premier League and has professed his love for the English game (I know some people might cover their eyes reading this, lol), like, get the fuck over yourselves. Tuchel has no need to defend himself against any criticism. The Premier League has been around for 31 or 32 years by now and no English manager has ever won the league, your homegrown coaching fucking sucks my guys.

This is the real issue. The English have misplaced view of their position in the sport. Americans never complain about foreign managers, because we understand there's no one domestically who is competent.

Tuchel has no need to defend himself against any criticism.

He already did. Talking about "our shirt" and almost apologizing for having a German passport :D

As for this:

and has professed his love for the English game (I know some people might cover their eyes reading this, lol)

it's hardly surprising. He's a lot more respected in England than he ever was in Germany. He was praised for his stint at Mainz but that was a long time ago. His stint at Dortmund was positive but he didn't achieve anything worthy of remembrance and he left the club on bad terms. Then at Bayern he was under pressure from day one and he didn't really prove his critics wrong. Even the Bundesliga title that he won is remembered as the title Dortmund lost and not as an achievement of Tuchel.

On the other hand, in England he inherited a mess from Lampard and he led Chelsea to a CL title. He received a lot of affection and praise in his stint at Chelsea.
