It's an okay deal given the financial side and timing of that deal. Why we didn't do this month ago when the price was the same? However Dzeko is a sure thing, he won't be a miss like Nainggolan. He's a top striker still at least in Serie A level do we get fee good years of him. Not gonna complain over this deal other than the price if it's indeed what was asked month ago.

No no, sorry maybe I didn't explain myself better. I'm not saying it's greate deal, I agree with you. Taking into considarion everything, to me it's just like you've said: "an ok deal". If he plays in the next 6 years like he plays now, I think then I will say it's a great deal. To have a backup striker like we had Cruz for example would be magnificent.

In terms of the timing, we don't know what were the conditions a month ago. Look at the press. They said we started from the low offer, then with each week the press claimed we risen it and risen it to the point they couldn't rise it any longer, since it was the alleged asking price of man utd. And at the end it was much lower (if we take 83mln straight or nothing) than claimed.

The point being, that press might be just talking shit here just as well. Maybe... roma got into cahoots with jube to stall us, so that we sell them icardi for cheap? Also possible. So essentially, we don't know most of what's going on with those transfers.

As to the deal, again I agree with you. It's not greatest deal ever, it's not worst deal ever, it's somewhere in between. I also agree it won't be the same case as with n9 and that we should have a good use of him for a few years. Fingers crossed

For real? This deal is exactly in the mold of the radja deal we re paying a high sum considering the age therefore we get a top serie a performer from roma! Both had a not to great season before coming here but both proved to be amongst the best in their position in serie a in previous years.

I really dont see how theres a huge difference between him and radja.
One could even argue that they both are said to be hot heads. Even though i m sure radja is worse.

For me the attitude is different. The premise is different. Dzeko wants the fuck out of Roma to Inter, whereas Roma kicked Nainggolan the fuck out of the club and we wanted to buy.

Of course the contract we are offering pays a role in that Dzeko wanting to come, I'm not fooling myself. But it feels more genuine how he wants to come. He could just stay for a season and net a big last ticket next summer but he wants to move now.

Says Dzeko is done for around 18m. We are currently discussing SMS with Lazio but he can't promise that he'll actually come as, unlike with Lukaku, there are alternatives that we could be looking at. Says he knows more but he won't say, and that he knows nothing about Dybala-Icardi.

Seems to spend the rest of the video talking about 'beef' he's got with other people. I wouldn't put too much into this, but apparently he got Lukaku right so who knows.

I can't believe that he predicted that we were going sign Lukaku. No one saw it coming, just him. It wasn't in the papers and reported for months either. It was just him that said it and he just showed up at our door in Milan days later.
