You got that right....

I will die of a heartattack if we play with Mihaj and Favalli in our defence next season. :scared:

or for that matter Bonera and Favalli.

No then I will prefer this

Carini/Cesar
JZ, Cordoba, Barzagli*, Potenza
???/Stankovic, Cambiasso, Veron, Stankovic/???
Adriano, Martins

I have no clue who we should use on the opposite wing of the one Stankovic is playing on.

*if we can't get him then it should be either Burdisso or Luisao

Dos anyone know how good Ettien and Leo Lima are

My full squad would look like this

Carini
???/Julio Cesar
GK: Primavera

J.Zanetti
Ze Maria
Burdisso
Cordoba
Barzagli/Luisao/Chivu/???
Matrix
CB:a Primavera player
Potenza
Coco

AVM
Midfielder ????
Stankovic
Cambiasso
Veron/?? another playmaker
C.Zanetti
a Primavera player
??? winge
Kily

Adriano
Martins
Recoba
Vieri

Thise player will arrive (5-6)
Julio cesar/ or another GK, Potenza, one of Barzagli/Luisao/Chivu/???, and a midfielder and a winge. If we don't get Veron on a permanent basis we have to get another playmaker.

Fabio: I don't believe Barzagli is a proven defender yet. He could very well turn out to be the next Legrotagliatele. You know very well that Inter is not the best place for a promising player to grow. :D

Favalli is way too old. His wisdom and experience would make him the perfect back-up but I want someone who can last in the team for a few years, not just a couple.

Marchionni is a right winger and he can't play in that position.

I really used to care about having italian players as well Fabio, but now I don't. They don't show more heart than foreigners and they are afraid to speak out.

Besides, JZ, Burdisso, Cambiasso and Veron are all of italian dissents, don't you consider them italians as well?

I have to say Barzagli is amazing though , I'd love to have him or Kompany in the centre and Chivu on the left next year.

It really doesn´t matter if they doesn´t show more heart or anything. This is Italian Serie A, not some global league.

I really do hope that in few years it´s mandatory to have three/four (or more) italian born players in the field in every Serie A team. I know a lot of you disagree with me, but what´s new. That´s just the way i wanna see Serie A in few years. I fell in love with Italian style of football and i wanna keep it that way...

The italian style of football, you mean like that of Juve? :scared:

Besides, we are internazionale, we were created out of AC Milan because we wanted to play with foreigners. We had to change our name because the fascists punished us for having foreign players, it's in our culture.

Spot on Hamed.

For me it dosen't matter where they come from, except a few exceptions. Just as long as they sacrifice them self for our team, I would give a shit if they are from Italy or Brazil. And if that means that all our players are foreigners so be it.

And it's not like there are that many good Italian players out there at the moment.

I naturally speak only on behalf of my own but I like disciplined, extremely tactical, passionate and still very skillfull football. They are typical characteristics of Italian football, aren't they. You may call it Juve-style football but it's winning football to me.

Have to add that I have never understood people who watch calcio but always complain about typical characteristics of Italian football (defensive mentality, large number of fouls, diving and so on). Why to watch it if it's always so repulsive?

To be exact "Internazionale" is close to "international" which is a word that can be linked to the communist idea. That's the first and the foremost reason why we were Ambrossiana from 1928 to 1945.

Passionate and very skillful? Hardly these days. Someone got it right when he said that there aren't much italian talents these days. In the past yes, but not now. Most of the skillful players in Serie A these days are non-italians. And the only team with the true italian identity -Juve- play the ugliest soccer anywhere.

About internazionale, I actually read it once in an italian magazine done in english. They talked about what the name signifies and the Amborsina deal. It said that we had to change it because we wanted to employ foreigners, we were going against the discriminatory fasist ideas of those days.

I don't have anything against "Italian football" I actualy like it, or else I woulden be watching it. I also wont the Italian teams to continue with the Italian style, and if that was not the case and I liked attacking football then I would have watched Spanish football..

And those players we shall have in our team should be those moste caple of playing the System, our coach decide to play with. And if that means that moste of our players are foreigners, then I would not complain. Like some of you do, because you favourise Italian players.

Can you confirm Inter's interest in Giallorossi defender Chivu? Do you like this player?
"For transfer market matters you'll have to ask our managers. The club decides transfer market issues. Chivu is a player I like, but he's not the only one."

This is from the official website. I think this confirms that we are after chivu. Hopefully not as a CB :( even though he is not that bad at this position but we need a world class CB. But as a LB that would be gr8 ;)

You know where I stand here, but I gotta say, "non Italians" just sound terrible, who cares where you were born Fabio? I really don't understand why you bother about that.

I thought we split from AC Milan, and named ourselves Internazionale FC because we believed that players from all over the world should join in? I don't care if the whole of our squad are foreigners if they have Inter in their hearts. Just look at Il Capitano. I believe he loves Inter as much as, or maybe even more, any of our Italian players.

I didnt say that chivu is a world class cb. I was sayin that he is good but what we need is a world class defender.

where can we get one? Even though it might seem crazy to some of u, but i feel that samuel is really having some difficulties in spain and would like a return to calcio. Also we can look at collucini from milan :) or milito from real sociedad. These two argentenians really look solid to me nd would do a gr8 job IMO.
