DiMarzio - #Napoli is moving forward for the June market, in this sense the interest in #Inter midfielder Davide #Frattesi could come back into fashion, as was also sought in January.

as long as they pay the money we're asking for, i think its fine. funnily enough, i think he'd do really well with conte. similar to mctominay he's capable of contributing a lot in a different sysyem

I think that as long as we get our money back, none of us will resent him if he goes elsewhere and flourishes. He has something and it's unfortunate it's just not been a good fit for us. It happens.

We have to be more realistic about his price in the summer. It’s fine that we weren’t in a position to lose a midfielder in January short of a big offer, but there’s no shot we get 35-40mil for him like some reports were suggesting was our valuation. More like 25+ bonuses max if we’re lucky.

Some middle table EPL club could give 40m, why not?

The only time we ever manage to fleece EPL teams is for our starters (Lukaku and Onana), not once have I seen us flog a Gagliardini-type for decent money.

I really hope we sell Frattesi in the summer, he’s very obviously checked out and has no place in this system. That’s neither his nor Inzaghi’s fault, but rather a really shit bit of recruitment.

I have a feeling most of the people didnt even watch this guy, it was just flat rate overhyping.
I'm also ready to say that Frattesi last season >>> this season, at least he was a bit more involved every time he played. He'll never fit Inzaghi's midfield, but it's clear that he looks mentally checked out.

Nobody was expecting him to be a new Barella, but he can assist just well enough and has a good shot on him - and we aren't seeing that from him this season. It's worrying, really. Looks like he mostly had bad, uninvolved matches for Inter this season. I absolutely don't want to see him go to one of our rivals, but if he goes to Roma, I'm okay with that.

Last season he had scant involvement in the game but chipped in a fair number of goals, so his deficiencies were masked somewhat. This season we don't get the goals so we tend to focus more on his all round play (which is down on last season in every conceivable metric).

Played the whole second half against Germany. Looked lively, but not really the difference maker (kinda like Maldini in the first half)

Played well today vs Udinese. Looked pissed being subbed off, doubt Inzaghi's empathy did much good.

He's my guy, so I'm sad it probably won't work out in the end, as he's proven to be, ultimately, too limited technically for the way we play. With that being said, the shade being thrown his way is way too much - his statistical output, being goals or assists, is outright outrageous for the minutes he plays, and his goals against Verona and Udinese were big hallmarks in our Scudetto runs last season.

There's been a lot of talk about him not caring or putting in his best effort, which I find to be outright ridiculous. He might not be 'good' enough, but he's never not put in the work.
His reaction today speaks volumes.

He played well because Udinese defense was trash. I read some news that their coach has changed the formation before the game, and that definitely affected then in the negative way.
He has to score 2-3 goals more before the end of the season, and then we can sell him for 30+mln.
He is not bad player but he is not for our style.
