He was solid last night. Imo when he plays we should totally switch to low block, that's where he is the most effective. It's a total waste of time to play possession football with him in midfield, and I would go as far as to say it even hurts us.

He is good at defending and tracking, and great in transition when it comes to counterattacks. All the stuff you do when you sit deep like we did last night.

Frattesi isn't Messi where you change the system to suit him. He needs to improve or we need to get someone who can play our system.

Managed the magnificent total of 9 completed passes last night. For comparison only bisseck, Chala, Denzel & Correa had less. On the Roma side only dodvyk, Soule & baldanzi managed less. Pass completion was also awful, only our wingbacks and forwards had a lower % completed.

That's exactly why we should play with low block and change the system when he plays.

Talks about replacing him are pointless now, it's not gonna happen this season.

Didn’t say Frattesi caused Zalewski’s mistake, he just was there at right moment. What I meant that we did play for his strength but it didn’t really work out.

I’m not sure what position he even is. He does nothing great but isn’t really awful at anything either. I want to like him, but then I watch him play and I just don’t see it. I see why Inzaghi rides Mikhitaryan the way he does.

Taremi would play better in Frattesi position, dude is Sanchez tall version. I'd try to play Frattesi in Taremi position if i was Inzaghi
