I love his passion and energy that he brings when introduced. He got the energy to change the game. I also like his runs forward and him knowing where to be placed for a threat. He still has a long way to improve but he is young and with more minutes, more confidence will come and I think he will play important role for us.

I really don’t get this guy. With every other midfielder, I can envision what they would offer at their best. I can picture what the best version Asllani would look like, or Agoume, or anyone else I can think of, but what does the best version of Frattesi look like?

I can picture him as some sort of false nine, or winger, or right-back even, but I just can see him fitting in as a central midfielder in our system.

But we all knew that Frattesi is great impact impact sub and he is most effective from 65-70 minutes on.

Next year, I can see Miki/Zielinski combo for that midfield spot.

Getting the feeling this guy may never be a starter here. Inzaghi loves Mikhi and Zielinski is simply better than Frattesi. I really love him as an impact sub but I’m not sure he will get the game time here to develop himself to hit the next level.

I never saw the vision the management had when we signed him for Inzaghi. A completely different player to the starting trio, who excels more out of possession than in.

The nose for goal he’s got and the absolutely crucial goals he scored get him a pass for the season from me but I’m not hopeful we’ll ever be able to rely on him to let Barella rest.

I really want to be proven wrong though, because I do like his game in theory and there’s lots of room and time for improvement. Still, very grateful for Zielinski coming in.

I mean, it's not really hard. He can press, but he needs to learn to carry the ball , defend and be aware of his teammates on the field. Maybe during this summer break he will get it down.

I just feel like his off the ball is atrocious and he simply cant get into position in the middle in our formation and with the way we move and play now. He is also lost and always hidden, he is very rarely available. He does have a really good eye for goal but that is not what we need if it comes at the expense of a midfielder.
He will never ever start before a 40 year old Miki or Zielinski.

He is much better than Vecino especially with the ball in his feet. Vecino might be better in headers.

Frattesi has 7 goals in all competitions this season as a back up. Vecino didn't scored more than 5 for us as a starter iirc.
Let's not compare them please. Frattesi is much more useful in defense as well.

I'm not sure but maybe he doesn't fit for our 352 formation and style of playing i don't know, something doesn't seem right.
Maybe he needs more time to develop and adapt to his position or maybe our club is not a right place for him and he should go to a club that suits him more and also to get more minutes.
I don't want him to waste his talents and i want a better back up for Barella to give him more rest.

His runs into the box are some of the best in the game. Uncanny how often he finds the ball in front of the net.

Vecino was better than him
Is this some sort of failed troll attempt? 🤨

Frattesi has scored eight goals in Serie A this season despite starting just five times. He is the best midfielder in the league for goal-per-minute ratio.

Frattesi: Inter and Italy star reveals ‘secret’ behind goal-scoring form

“The key is always to train hard so you can show it when you are involved,” he said.

“If you are slow during the week and demotivated when you don’t play, that is not the right attitude. Obviously, the more you play, the more you are fit, but the secret is to always go fast in training.”

What does he expect from the next season?
“First of all, I hope we can replicate what we did this season regarding the group. Then the coach will decide the rest.”

Next week, Inter will lift the Scudetto trophy after the final home game against Lazio.

“Surely it won’t be like the open-top bus parade, but I’d still be a party. Going to San Siro is always thrilling; it’s like a constant party,” the Italy international concluded.
Train hard, party hard.

Yeah, but you know what's funny, you could actually make a solid case vecino was better at midfielding than fratessi in the usual stuff like pasess, linking up the midfield with attack, covering etc...

I'm not complaining though, especially now that another pure mid is coming in zielinski. We will have a good number of mids with certain characteristics, so maybe it's good we have something radically different in fratessi as well.
