If we talk about scoring it was not his best season, only 6 goals without PK'S, 2005 2006 was way better for him.

8 were penalties.

so? you have to take into consderation he also does more than score goals,in his team his job was also to look for the ball and make spaces for other players etc...

With Ibrahimovic I would play Crespo(Andriano) any time, and Suazo on the bench,we have to many strikers, instead of buying wing,or creative midfielder we are buying attacker,I really can't understand Mancini and Inter management some time

Well Suazo was bought because mancini specifically requested him....so mancini will decide who to play.

It's Poncharello.
Yeah, I wasn't too sure if it's "a" or "e." I Google-ed it up and they both came with the same number of results so...

Wikipedia says it's "a" but I don't trust Wiki. For the record, Scarpini pronounced it with the "a," methinks.

I guess most of the penalties was thank's to him since it's the only way to stop him ;)

I was just going to say that too.

The last penalty I've seen for Cagliari was against Palermo, caused by Suazo, and scored by Suazo.

I just remembered his goal against Palermo, and I thought I'd look it up on youtube, because it really highlights how incredibly fast this guy is.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nth62z4O5yk

His accelaration is good, but what is really amazing is his top speed. Look how he builds up the speed and just burns the entire team. Such athleticism and pace is rare.

I think Ibra will enjoy playing with this guy.

here's something funny: when me and my fellows discussed which no. Suazo will pick, some ****ing genius reminded us of the famous SU-27(Russian fighter airplane), and said, hey, Suazo will be our SU-27, so no.27 will match him perfectly:lol:

I did a google search on "Poncherello", and Eric Estrada's character called "Ponch" or "Poncherello" in C.H.I.P.S. comes up. Cruz does kinda look like Eric Estrada.

yea my concern on his scoring ability is also because a lot of the goals come from Penalty and consider the fact that he took most of the shots in Calgiari... since they dont have another striker of his quality. Well, I hope my intuition is wrong and he will be BIG for us

Not much excitement? :p Can't blame you, do we really need another striker? If so I would've favored an Italian to join us but I can sum my feelings towards Suazo in two quotes...

He had a tough season but the team around him at Cagliari has been steadily declining in talent since Zola retired so it can't entirely be blamed on him.

Cagliari ususally play in a 4-3-3 formation, with Suazo flanked by Zola and Esposito in 2004/2005 and Langella/D'Agostino when Zola left...& we did play with a 4-3-3 formation on quite a few occasions last season ;)

Well Suazo was bought because mancini specifically requested him

Still unsure of how much of a coup Suazo is :( But seeing AC Merda get rejected and Berlusconi trying to cool down the damage control is good enough for me  In the mean time let me spice things up a bit...

check out SUAZO welcome to INTER video !!

This is great ! We signed DAVID "La Pantera Nera" SUAZO and made WC BILAN look like idiots in the process :dielaugh:

His nickname is "La Pantera Nera" [the Black Panther] because of his amazing speed

BANG! Suazo rejects ac milan! hahahah I already like this guy !!! He slapped milan in their face and he keeps his word ! Honour, loyalty and respect - fundamental for INTER !

"Suazo Perfect For Milan" - Ancelotti
"Suazo is perfect, he's already a champion for Milan" - Ancelotti
"I wanted Eto`o', but he's not for sale" - Ancelotti
"Inter remains the favourite for the Scudetto" - Ancelotti
Gilardino Praises Suazo : "He is a great player and I have always liked him. He is strong and fast, I am sure he will be very useful."

Suazo, welcome to INTER - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJcaTIwp17I

w0w look how SUAZO is owning ac milan's (old and slow) defence at minute 0:57 !!! This guy's speed is really scary  :scared: :dazed:

Presentazione David Suazo - 27/06/07 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZb4aU6Ka4I
David Suazo presentazione 1 parte - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAE9Q-0UgnI
David Suazo presentazione 2 parte - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTqN_Qm65-g
David Suazo presentazione 3 parte - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Far08W6RQpU
David Suazo presentazione 4 parte - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kN1L6RvVUqI

I think SUAZO is much better than Martins, Martins was a good athlete but poor finisher ! Suazo has a better technique and has big experience in Italian football - hopefully he will score lot of goals in the Champions League ;)
