Anyways while basel has cut back on spending the last two years they also paid 4 mio to jube 3 years ago for Sene who still is not really in the rotation..
So to pay 3 for malen who has the most assists for them in the league does not seem like it s excessive..

It's not a matter of whether the league is shit or not. You can get a 3m player from a league that typically sells their best for 2m and he could be a hit in mid-tier leagues.

Swiss teams have access to these leagues' markets and are appealing enough as next steps for the players themselves.
