This is kinda scary though. Handanovic is certainly not feeling any younger. This is our plan b goalkeeper in our most critical season in recent history? Come on now. It's not impossible to find a good backup gk. Look at Roma: Skorupski is a quality goalkeeper. I hope we find either an underrated gem like Skorupski or a young Handa successor this summer because Padelli is not good enough.

“In recent months, Ausilio has been putting renewals on hold. But now Inter and Daniele Padelli’s representatives have found agreement to extend the relationship started in the summer of 2017 for at least one season.”

As reported by Tuttosport, “Inter took time to reflect and even Padelli looked around for a new team perhaps, tempted to play with more continuity again before hanging his gloves. But now, the renewal of contract is ready.”
