L&C, I like your post but don't necessarily agree with it.

After Zola braced my EPL-biased sports channels, I grew affection for Chelsea...trying to watch them constantly. When CR took over and then Abro came in....I could not believe how un-organised CR was.

Mourinho came in and all of a sudden proved that money alone does not buy you success...but also a brilliant coach, motivator and tactician.

At this point you could best believe Rainieri had ill feelings toward Mourinho. Then the whole Serie A saga happened and the ill-feeling became even more potent.

We ALREADY know what happens when you put in a coach that Mourinho has beef with. They come in and want to do their own thing so they don't get caught in his shadow, seeing how much they despise him.

I am scared. I already have images of Rainier on the touchline hand on his chin, looking stressed and clueless as to why the squad is falling apart around him, losing to fucking Trabzonspor at home.

You reiterated that we were hard pressed to find anyone with experience. I agree. But is that exactly what we are looking for? Or do we just need someone who knows that this team already has a tried and tested formula. Someone who will WANT to copy Mourinhos style of success instead of having an ego to big .

mou mou mou mou mou.....are you going to repeat it for another thousands times.

if mou have to return to one of his former club, maybe porto more deserve than inter

Why Benitez failed? simply due to his training method, how can you believe a team with 10+key players on injury list can win the title?
why Leo failed? simply due to his inexperience
why Gasp failed? simply due to his formation, he is good at 3-4-3, bad at 4 fullback, and inter simply is not that cup of tea to play 3-4-3

their failures are all owe themselves, no relation to mou's influence/shade at all

---------- Post added at 22:31 ---------- Previous post was at 22:28 ----------

also want to plot one thing: why inter players are so fatigue in Benitez era? why real Madrid player show their tired right now? ------largely due to Mou's training

---------- Post added at 22:36 ---------- Previous post was at 22:31 ----------

Well, for now all im saying is that im just glad we got ride of that 3-4-3 formation. By playing each player on it's right position we should be able already to have a good gameplay. I just hope he does ok what's necessary to do.
Don't wanna see Inter lose anymore matchs for a while. GL for him.

And it would actually work, i like it overall <:

it is a good squad 2 years before. now? remember Chivu, Motta, Maicon's performance + commitment in the past season?

---------- Post added at 22:42 ---------- Previous post was at 22:36 ----------

Tinkerman for real...Problem is he is just another version of Cuper a la Valencia....Will always get u to finals but can never win, even if his life depended on it!

But do not forget: either the squad of Cuper's Valencia & Ranieri's Roma is NOT GOOD ENOUGH to qualify the final, it is the coach release the players' potential maximumly

Welcome Claudio please don't do stupid things like you did before.

he never do stupid thing. except trophy drought, he did everything close to perfect

Why Leo failed? simply due to his inexperience

Personally I don't think Leonardo failed at all. I agree with you that he was inexperienced but the players liked him and he really got them motivated which is really important for this Inter team - just look at them under Gasp, they hated him and his tactics. Even with a 3-4-3 we should have been able to beat Novara but didn't as they had no drive to do it.

I would have been delighted to have kept him for this season and was really dissapointed to see him go. His motivation rescued our season after Benitez tried his hardest to ruin it for us and he was very much one of my favourite managers of recent times. I understand we didn't win the league that season but we were 13 points below Milan when he joined us and he completely turned it around for us.

This is just my opinion on the subject and I'm not trying to argue against your opinion :)

Leo only failed in 4 matches: facing Juve, AC milan Parma and Schalke 04, these lose destroyed all season's hardworking

the lose to Juve, milan and 04 simply due to leo's inexperience, a good motivator is always not enough for such a big game, this kind of matches need the coaching experience

Many people in this thread point Ranieri as a loser. Yes he was a trophy loser, actually 2 years ago his work in roma is perfect.take a teams in chaos in mid term, without big signing (we got Mota, Milito, Wes, Eto'o). He ONLY FAILED a single game - 1:2 to Pazzo (samp)

see, sometimes one game turn you from legend to loser

Just saw an English interview with him. Hasn't ruled out going back to England, says he's still a young man with a big smile. Made me chuckle. His English is really good.

I have a feeling Ranieri will motivate the team and give it a good round, but my the end of the season, or 2nd season he is in charge midway through he will lose grip and get fired. That is the typical, good old Ranieri
