Yeah, it was unfortunate what happened. To lose a sure starter just like that, after so many problems in midfield through the years.

Coming after our title, our whole situation felt bittersweet. Eriksen, Conte, Hakimi and Lukaku all leaving one way or another, i thought to myself.. welp, back to a banter era, but this time i can't be mad at our team when playing and losing, because of all these unfortunate events. And look at us now!

Feeling very proud of the team, and i hope we build on it!

I thought Brentford was English owned? Isn't Matthew Benham english? He owns Midtjylland I know, my friend ironically nicknamed "Danish" supports them.

Eriksen can do as he wishes with his career but if it was a choice of Brentford + risk or retiring I'd be enjoying my life.

That’s actually a really good idea. He could come out wearing an Inter jersey for the first half and play for us and then play for his new team in the second half.

Can he play in a friendly in Italy? A UEFA competition is different as they get to say what goes on, but friendlies iirc are the responsibility of the home federation.

Don't know exactly but I know Ajax never let players train with the first squad. The always train at Jong Ajax, they play in the first division in Holland. Maybe something to do with insurance?
