I guess its an overall good draw. I didn't want Werder Bremen at the end, I definately would have rathered Rosenborg (for Revenge) or Maccabi.

What revenge, did you mean the Champs League qualifier loss few seasons back ?? In that case, it was Helsingborg. :)

ANDERLECHT - As Handoyo said, I also only know Kompany and Bassegio, coz both the players were rumoured to us. :D
It's good chance for Kompany to impress Inter to spend $$ on him. Won't be easy.

VALENCIA - I am sick and tired of Inter playing Valencia. :fero:
3 seasons in a row !!
Vicente, Aimar, Baraja, Ayala - won't be easy ..... ;)

W.Bremen - I also just knew AILTON. But !! I did watch 7/8 Bremen's matches last season nad have to say that they did play well. Anyway, this is a new season. :D
And is Handoyo right that AILTON is not available ??

Yes but like i said before....He went to Shalke, but first round of German league, they played each other.

Bremen won 1-0. Ailton was on the losing side (shalke)

then last week Bremen won 4-0 against Hansa rostok.

They dont have Ailton but they have Klose, Charisteas Angelos(greece)

Both are VERY strong in the air, and are good fowards. They also have Micoud in mid. I fear them more than Valencia, why? Raineri is a bad manager :( and sadly will bring down Valencia. If Benitez was there then i dont think we would win...but with Raineri, we should beat them. Bremen and Inter to go through i think. hopefully its not..
1. Valencia
2. Bremen
3. Inter ...

lol hopefully not but dont under estimate Anderlecht! played very well lately. especially against Benfica.

Yes, this is true. Ailton plays now for Schalke. Werder bought Miroslav Klose as compensation for Ailton. :dielaugh: :dielaugh:
We have to keep an eye on Micoud (their No. 10), Klasnic(striker, in very good shape on the beginning of the German league. It was an exemption for him, that Ailton leaves) and Charisteas.
Also their are playing alot of internationals. Fabien Ernst, Frank Fahrenhorst, Frank Baumann, Tim Borowski, Angelos Charisteas, Miro Klose, Umit Davala.

I watched the highlights from Werder Bremen in the bundesliga(both their games) Believe me they look scary...They dont miss Ailton a bit.I think they communicate telepathically sometimes...And they play as a team so it is not one player or two u have to worry about.

Channel 4 said we have the easiest draw of the Italian teams..I really beg to differ.
Valencia- Always caused us problems even though we qualified over them several times, they know us well and would want revenge, plus they have been together for a while.

Anderlecht- Just beat Benfica 3-0,more than convincing to me over a side that looked good againast us last year, even though it might look like this is the easiest side on paper(which i think should not be taken lightly,it might be their advantage)

Werder Bremen- They have a great team..Won both their starting games, I will be worried the most against them to tell u the truth. But i hope we qualify on top cause we have a great team with depth.

Valencia - Won Spanish League last season
Werder Bremen - Won Bundesliga last season
Anderlecht - I am not sure of this team ??

aahh, I also remembered watching Werder's Micoud. They had a very good last season, and has started this season in a good way as well.
2 wins from 2 games.

We will play our first game of Champs League on September 14 against WERDER BREMEN !!
Won't be easy, but we have to do it ..... forza inter.... we welcome the bundesliga title holder to SAN SIRO !!

Alright we are not into an easy group with teams from Greece and Israel but i can say it is a fair one.

-Anderlecht is the easiest team. I watch some Belgian football and no matter what you guys say about Kompany, Dendane, etc..they are still the weakest in our group. We should beat them home and away and i would be really surprised if we fail against them. (Han, credit goes to them for beating Benfica 3-0 but hey this is Benfica and above all Trap is coaching them.lol.. Benfica won 1-0 1st leg and this is a shame really.)

-Bremen is certainly a very good team which plays fast football. They have good players in Baumann, Ismael, Ernst and Micoud with traditional centre forwards in Klasnic, Klose and Charisteas(he is still there Jimmy). Anyway they are not experienced enough for the champions league. I dont know but i will also be astonished if they quailified with us ahead of Valencia.
They can be a similar copy of last year's Stuttgart, which only qualified for the 2nd leg due to the weak teams in the group but Bremen will find it tough IMO.

-Valencia will always be favourites to go through alongside Inter. I am not saying this because i like Valencia or because of the Italian players there but simply because they are very well covered in every position. The players have the excperience needed and mentally wise are much better footballers than Bremen's team. Not to forget that Ranieri lead Chelsea to the semi finals last year and so his experience counts. People are writing Valencia off because they lost to Zaragoza.. :wth: !! Ranieri's Chelsea wasnt good last year not because the manager is bad as some people here claim but all the players looked new and always been switched from a place to another, etc..(and still he lead them to the 2nd in the league and semi-finals champions league) But the case is different with Valencia. They are the same squad we all saw last season and add to them the fantastic players that joined.

1-Inter
2-Valencia
3-Bremen
4- Anderlecht (I wouldnt be surprised if Anderlecht finished 3rd though)

I have just noticed we got all champions of their domestic leagues in our group.
And some of us call this as an easy group. :)

Can someone confirm that Anderlecht won Belgian League this year(I am not sure)?
