Tbh the stats are kinda irrelevant considering his age gap to the average player he is against..

Exactly. Casadei dominating in Primavera doesn't probably tell much about his potential against men.

Maybe we should play him every now and again to see his potential against grown men then?

If he wasn't dominating the primavera no one would talk about him. Literally the one thing a primavera player can do to earn a chance in the first team is to play extremely well in the primavera. Now that he doing exactly that you say it's meaningless because of his age. What the fuck should he do then? It's not like he can do anything about his age.

If he was dominating aged 17, I'd be much more keen tbh, but we have had plenty of dominant 19 year olds in recent years who haven't done much.

I suspect the reason why he doesn't get any time is because he looks very lacking in training against the first team - ultimately that's the first step you need to shine in, to then justify some game time. If you can't do it in training you aren't gonna do it on the pitch, which is why all the stuff about being at 110% in training is so critical

Like @.h. said, he should have been dominating like this when he was 17. Then he should have been called up to train with the first team, then get some minutes here and there perhaps if he earned the minutes from the training sessions.

If 19-year-old Primavera kid scores tons of goals against younger players, it doesn't really tell much. @.h. basically told how it goes.

I was reading similar things on this forum about Satriano. That he looked good at primavera because he's too old for that level and he was too old to develop into anything special. Well he was sent to Ligue 1 and he's doing a very decent job there. The thing is you will never know how good a player is if you never give him the chance.

considering Vidal and Vecino will depart soon, perhaps we would see Casadei rank up into first team next season (in addition we have yet see any recent rumors to replace Vidal - Vecino spot other than Agoume)

4 in 12 in league 1 isnt really that much to write home about tbh. He started well, seems to have dropped off of late, i dont watch the league so someone who does is always welcome to comment

4 / 12 is pretty well given these are his first months in (official) senior level football matches.

Oh I'm not saying it's bad, he's outperformed my expectation of the usual shit we see on loan e.g. play 3 games everyone finds out you are ass and then inter extends you until 28

Zaniolo was a late bloomer from our primavera.

He was at Inter for one season. I'd hardly count him as from our primavera tbh.
The point wasn’t where he came from. The point was he was still 19 years old playing at the primavera level. Being 19 and still playing in primavera doesn’t automatically mean you’re going to be a scrub.

No, but as ever, there are exceptions to any rule. For the vast vast majority of players, the path Zaniolo took would have meant they were relegated to failure.

Also as a technicality, he was 18 for the whole season in the Primavera, he turned 19 on the 2nd of July after his time at Inter

Also, actually there's something to this. We can always think what if players get out of Inter earlier or when they hit 19 and start getting playing time elsewhere? We can never say anything about our guys who are here at the age of 19, maybe the ship has sailed for them already? They need exp in senior level, against men so they indeed shouldn't be at Inter Primavera at that point anymore. Zaniolo got out when he hit 19.

Give him a shot, it can't be any worse than signing some old piece of s#it with " some Serie A experience ". That's part of the problem with this club, either circle jerking about players Inter can't afford or signing some has been to long term contracts. Good God, this club is more than likely to be stuck with Dalbert.

let him train with the team, come the right moment he make his appearance, esp with 5 subs available during this pandemic age.
