Our bench should beat Young Boys, but the problem is that we don't have a midfield on the bench atm. 0:2 will be enough, but obviously this is the type of game we should win 0:6

@pier you're the real MVP for posting expected returns for injured players.

I don't expect it to happen but if Asllani doesn't recover for Young Boys and Juve Inzaghi needs to switch to double pivot of Barella-Mkhi and Frattesi in front of them (or even switch to 3-4-2-1). We shouldn't be obsessed with playing with a regista when there's no one available. Barella would be wasted there.

It's time for Berenbruch :)

Two Inter youngsters set for Champions League call-ups

Inzaghi is expected to call up 19-year-old wing-back Mike Aidoo for the first time this season. The former Chievo youngster was called up for the Group Stage match against Benfica last season, but is yet to make his debut in a competitive fixture for Inter’s senior side.

Inzaghi has been monitoring his progress for some time already though, according to reports from Calciomercato.com. The coach had the youngster at his disposal for all of the Nerazzurri’s pre-season training camp over the summer.

The Nerazzurri coach will also include 19-year-old midfielder Thomas Berenbruch in his squad for Wednesday’s game against Young Boys.

The young central midfielder was included in the matchday squad for the 1-0 win away against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday evening, his first appearance in a competitive senior squad this season.
Fresh toys? Unleash the young boys!

No such thing as an easy game, I never believed in such things. Tomorrow with the right mentality/approach We should be able to get the 3 points. I'd like to get a solid win + a clean sheet too. It'd be nice to have 3 clean sheets in our first 3 european matches. Ofc the 3 points is the greater priority.

Forza Inter. We'll see what happens tomorrow.

🇮🇹🎙️ Simone Inzaghi ahead of Young Boys-#Inter:

"I'm happy with how Barella played as a regista against Roma, he's done it before. Tomorrow, either he or Zieliński will play regista- I'll have to evaluate Zieliński. Then, Frattesi will play and someone else alongside him." @SkySport

@INTER Xtra
"Someone else" as if it's not Mkhitaryan

They beat Galata with ease, we need to be 100% to win this.

Inzaghi doesnt really waver from 3.5.2 tho does he? He'd rather play someone out of position (e.g. Barella) and keep the system. There's zero chance he'll start Asllani v Juve if theres another option available! Barella/Mkhi rotated anyway against Roma - like Eriksen/Broz and Eriksen/Hakan so its no biggie. Subs will be a biggie tho if we're losing!
