No one of us knows the situation regarding Burdisso. It's true, that this looks very weird but we can't know what is going on there. Has he been on trainings normally? Where is Burdisso overall? Is he at Appiano?

Our line-up?

Toldo

J.Zanetti - Cordoba/Materazzi - Mihajlovic - Favalli

VDM - Cristiano - Cambiasso - Kily

Oba - Cruz/Vieri

Mancini said something about players not fully fit, Cordoba and Vieri, so will we see Matrix-Miha again? No Stankovic at all. So it seems he's gonna play on Tuesday, like Veron.

What are the chances that he is fit to play for Argentina a few weeks ago, after missing months of actions with Inter and then he's supposedly unavailable after his return from the national team? I don't believe that it's injuries. Perhaps, like Davids, Burdisso shacked up Moratti's or Mancini's wife. :D Or maybe Burdisso tackled Stankovic or Veron or Vieri or Favalli too hard in a training session. :dielaugh::lol::howler:

To confirm if he is injured or not, you can just investigate the training pictures in inter.it. I, for one, am too busy (lazy) to do so.

The amazing thing is that Burdisso is not even in the training pics. ;)
Or am I wrong ??

Anyway, I was just wondering why Mancini does not point out Stankovic or Mihajlovic's name when they don't do well but loves pointing out Emre, V.Meyde's names ?? :)

With all the due respect, everyone should be treated fairly.

;)

I don't think about the chances. And I'm not making any assumptions or guessings about what's going on with Burdisso. Because I don't know, I'm not cursing anyone who might be responsible for this. After we know, we can curse people. But now when we don't know the situation, cursing for example Mancini is just stupid, in my opinion.

I didn't either found Burdisso at the training pics after the international games.

There is something you should know people: Burdisso is in Argentina and he has been there for the past month(ever since the problems with his son started). There, he trains individually and that is why he has been called up for the NT, although he did not play the away game vs. Bolivia, he didn't even travel with the squad.

Obviously we really need to win this game to make sure we qualify for the CL next year. Hopefully there will be no injuries and we can get a good win to give the team confidence before Tuesday!

It is a shame about Burdisso, I hope everything works out for him.

Thanks Milos. Do you have a source on that? It would be a relief if you could say so. At least we´d know why he isn´t called up.

Carini

Ze Maria - Cordoba - Gamarra - J. Zanetti

Andy VDM - C. Zanetti - Cambiasso - Kily

Vieri - Martins

I believe Bologna is toast. But just in case we´ll struggle we have Cruz to joker the result to our flavour.

2 DMs against Bologna? What? IMO we should try out Karagounis in the middle for this match. Why not partner him with Cambiasso and see where that duo takes us? Personally I don't like the idea of being all defensive in the middle of midfield and only have 2 offensive wingers. Depending solely on wing play, to me atleast, is weak, that's why I like Veron.

Is Burdisso really in Argentina? I guess it would make sense seeing he hasn't been called up to a game in ages and Inter.it hasn't mentioned his name for a long, long time. I'm assuming his son isn't fully healthy yet because why else would he be there?

I'm also very anti-2 DM's. I think we should go like this:

VDM Cambiasso Karagounis Kily

I see us struggling this game. I think it'll be one of those games where the team comes out completely flat and fails to create anything just because what happened during the week and what's coming up next week with the vital 2nd leg Euroderby. We might have rely on individual brilliance to get 3pts out of this one. Oba (who has been poor lately), VDM and Karagounis are good candidates.

If his son was that sick, Would Peckerman play him in an important game knowning his mind is elsewhere? Even in a home game, I am sure there were 100 defenders in the argentenian league.

I don't know, I'm starting to be really concerned regarding this Favouritism by Mancini. Someone has to step to him and tell him his limitations, if he insists, then I'm sorry but he can catch the next train to Rome and fulfill his fantasies there.

Well, I don't have the source as in media source but the Italian forums wrote about it.

Oh, FFS, do you people really have to see an ulterior motive in everything? THERE IS NO FAVOURITISM! Nobody is reporting any bust-up, not even the press in Argentina. THERE IS NO FAVOURITISM! Adriano played 2 days after his father died. THERE IS NO FAVOURITISM! Burdisso has not said anything to bust up the atmosphere not even close to Emre. THERE IS NO FAVOURITISM! Why can't you people just accept that the simple explanation is the one?

Oh and did I mention that THERE IS NO FAVOURITISM!

Man, you are clearly saying this because you are a Laziale. You don't see things the way we do. You have a different perspective, inter is another team for you. You don't get upset when we lose and you don't have a wide smile when we win.

Some of these guys and the coach are your favourite players. You liked them and you want them to succeed. So far, they aren't cutting it. We have players on the bench better than them, but they are frozen.

Without the free-kicks, Burdisso is better than Miha. As a LW, Davids and Kily are better than Stan. Veron, oh well, he is just clueless and I hope Stan gets his position. VDM is being sacrificed so that the magic recipe might work and Stan and Veron can co-exist. And Favalli, don't get me started. I want to see Coco before we finally sell him, somehow I feel he can't do a worse job than Favalli.

So, put your subjectivity aside and tell me there is no favouritism. VDM, Kily, Burdisso, Davids, Burdisso are being sacrificed so that mini Lazio can be a great squad. It's not working and it will not work.

I hope Facchetti warns Mancini, if he doesn't follow, then we can get rid of Miha and Veron. Mancini is under contract and can't do anything, he should shut up and just coach the team. It's getting on my nerves that we are being slapped by Milan in front of the world because of Mancini's fantasies. You dont' feel the same, so that's why you dont' think it's favouritism.

About the press, there are hidden things. You remember the last derby in Serie A? Adriano had a fight with Mancini after he wasn't selected. Nobody reported anything, it was just an internal thing.

I hope the next time Recoba plays and scores, he takes a mic and says what he told Mancini at Rome again and loudly this time while pointing at him to cut the uncertainty. I am really sick and tired of that.

On the same theme. This is from Mancini's interview on inter.it

On a psychological and environmental level, for the Bologna trip will you take a team of players who continue to follow you?

"What kind of question is this? This is the type of question that starts polemics. When you work, you work seriously, even when things aren't going well. And when things aren't going well you have to work even harder. It's too easy to do things well when everything is going well. It's the easiest thing in the world. We have serious boys in the squad, and from the Bologna match until the last training session we will do things seriously. When the season finishes, or if I'm no longer here, I don't know what will happen. But as long as I am here we will work seriously together, in every match."

================================================================

Just admit and say Yes. I take my favourite clowns with me, the Moratti circus has to please everyone. :yuck: Glad to see more and more people are noticing his favouritism.

I will, but I don't think I will watch it, I might tape it. I feel no urge to see a game anymore, I feel our season is lost. It could be because of exam time, if I had free time, I'd surely watch it, nothing else to do. :D

Veron wasn´t called up, Rich. ;) Or did I miss the point. Nevermind...

Only way to make the center more offensive is to either:

1. Put Kily or VDM in there. What a sight! :p Or Vieri? :dielaugh:

2. Or Marino there maybe? I never saw the guy but if he is more offensive than CZ and you have the guts to play him next to Cambiasso...

This match is shown delayed on Monday at 23:00. Very good, since I kinda miss Scarpini. :)

Thanx for the info dude. If this is true, Inter is sure lenient at giving a player that much of a break! By the way, do you have any idea what is his son's sickness? Surely it can't be that bad such that it lasted for more than a month!
