Inzaghi thought if fielded the second half team v. Porto-except De Vrij- that he may get a result.

He forgot to factor in that these players, particularly Mikha, Hakan, Bastoni, are really tired.

that because Inzaghi doesnt believe in tiredness. player rotation is a strange thing to him. he prefer letting Asllani, Bellanova, or DDA rot forever in the bench.

Pretty much what I expected after midweek CL game agains Porto. Necessary focus and fighting spritit was not there against well rested Bologna.

But still with this group of players we should be winning against teams like Bologna 9/10 times and it’s not that we don’t have the players to do it? We have one of the best rosters in this league.

Inzaghi is not bad coach, but not great either. He is above average and seems that this level pressure is not his cup of tea. I think he could do better job at smaller team with less expectation/pressure?

But yeah also our ”star” players have suffered from being inconsistent and maybe are not that great players after all… todays players are shadows of players like Etoo, Stankovic, Cambiasso, Zanetti, Samuel… their consistency of execution was immense, but still we should win Bologna with the players we have.

I get that even the best teams lose time to time but not 7-10 times at one season.

Shocking display today, Bologna just wanted it more, the pitch didn't help but no excuse at all. It really does seem like we are in unfortunately fighting for 2nd but lets not give up until it's numerically over.

Just woke up…. Glad I forgot to set up my alarm…..

So we lost 8 Points in the last month against teams we should have steam
Rolled…..

Knock out Porto, stay top 4 and the. Fire the coach and get rid of 80% of the team
Plus their insane wages

Same old shit. Win a big game (Napoli, Milan x2, Porto) and then immediately turn around and fail to beat a bunch of peasants (Monza, Empoli, Samp, Bologna).

Inzaghi at least goes for the wins. Today he paid the price for not playing a more defensive style and being content with the draw.

How many slender 1 goal difference results has the this team earned this season, where a draw or a lose would have likely resulted under a more conservative manager?

The Udinese, Porto, Torino, two Barca matches, Atalanta(a), Fiorentina(a), Sassoulu all could have resulted in draws or defeats if the team didn’t go for it.

Can’t blame a manager for going for the wins, if the squad isn’t good enough that can’t be put on him.

I’m with those who complain that Inzaghi hasn’t been rotating the squad lately and for that he deserves criticism.
