Manchester United's 99 team was no better than their 97 team. I remember that team of theirs was incredible, Cantona and the rise of Giggs, Beckham..I honestly thought that team was invincible, and I think it was the Semi's was when they got beaten.

99 they won, but they were beaten for 88 minutes..

Claude Makelele, the reason why even a good defensive midfielder like Scott Parker can't even get a start in Chelsea. He's perhaps the best ball-winner in the world as of today. :star:

Wouldn't trade Cambiasso for Makelele, or anyone in the world, though. ;)

i wouldnt too

but pizarro is dm for me, like pirlo or emerson are, skillful defensive mid with vision,...and he can work with cambiasso but it isnt best solution there is

cambiasso should go more in attack now and with his runing make space

Makelele must be the best one at the moment, but I wouldn't trade him for Cambiasso either. Cambiasso has many years ahead of him, and if he keeps improving the way he did last season the sky is the limit!

Cambiass-Pizarro can be the best midfield duo. Both are two way, and both complement each other well. Sadly, having them both in the middle, might result in us losing alot of aerial duels.

Pirlo
yea, but Samuel and Cordoba are behind them, and it be suicidal to let them leave their zone area to win aerial battles for us.

like cambiasso cant win arial battles?

thats why central defenders are...

if long ball is going defender comes out, jumps and clears it and midfielder gets behind him in case he dont win a jump

Keano is getting up there in age anyways. He's not the player he once was. Gotta love his fiery personality though. Crazy Irish. :D
