But we can give Marotta the fact that he wanted to replace Conte. He admitted his mistake and was ready to move on.

Hopefully next summer Zhang accepts the plan. Fucking spastic puppet president.

There is no "Marotta wanted to replace Conte". There was only "Marotta was adapting to the fact that Conte was probably leaving". He didn't push him out, he didn't advise Suning to sack the coach and he then did the coach's bidding by getting rid of Godin among others, got him Vidal and Kolarov, while he was looking to shop Brozovic to make room and funds for Kanté or someone else of Conte's liking, as well as shopped Skriniar around only to have him reject a club and then we were negotiating over a ridiculous amount with Tottenham....

There is no indication that Marotta wanted to sack Conte, nor any truth to this. He just wanted to make sure that he'd get to pick the new coach if it came to that and made a deal with Allegri.

Zanetti for example would have pushed for Pochettino. And this time maybe Suning would have listened to him rather than Marotta.

Ask your selfe if he wanted to sack conte in summer after a successful year why the fuck would he still be around after the shit show that has been this season?
Note if he was ready to fire him in summer than money cant be the argument cause it would be slightly less expensive to fire him now then it would have been in summer.

If Conte needs to go, this guy certainly needs to go. We should face the fact we made a mistake by hiring this guy and clown Conte, he is responsible for the situation and should resign. There is no plan, no vision and no future with all the old players we got.

Even if he made a mistake with Conte, overall the team is.much better than before and bar Hakimi (most probably) all of other purchases are suits for almost every formation.

But is that really on Marotta? Hiring Conte, getting Vidal, Darmian, Moses, Young, Kolarov and getting rid of Godin. Wanting to sell Eriksen and Skriniar etc.

You can't just fire Conte, you should fire them both like a package. Marotta doesn't have a plan or vision. Last year we wanted to buy young Italian players and this year all of the sudden we wanted to get older experienced players so we could win something. After we got the players suddenly our objective was to get in the top 4 of the league? They both need to take their responsibilities.

Surprising given the amount spent.
What's a better exercise is to go back to January 2019 and see what could have been done differently. You'd be surprised to see that we are in one of the worst possible timelines.

Marotta didn't want to keep Conte last summer and it was plainly obvious from his reaction after that infamous meeting.

Of course it doesn't change the fact he was the person who decided to give such a high salary to Conte which would basically turn the club into Conte's hostage if the things didn't work out. So he's to blame for the way things ended up as well.

You go there again. What amount money spent? We invested largely only on Lukaku but considering that he is replacement of Icardi (who was sold for around 60mln) this transfer is rather good based of their performance since then. Barella is good deal, Hakimi as well. Sensi still is big question mark. Sanchez and Vidal for free are great. Darmian for now is also good, but it's too early to judge him. Young, Kolarov, Moses etc. type of deals are average and temporarily patches that causing very small harm even if they are unsuccessful. His only busts are Eriksen and Lazaro so far which is fine for two years.

The fuck does this video prove? If he did not want him here any more why the fuck follow through with his dumb ass requests of Vidal and Kolarov? Why was he trying to sell Eriksen and skriniar? From the moves he made Marotta was backing Conte 100%...
If he was not convinced by conte it s probably even worse than giving a coach in whom you believe everything.

Anyways IMHO only option for marotta to save him selfe is to end it now with conte anything else and those fucks can leave together.

I'd really love it if Giovanni Gardini would speak about why he left Inter... Would shed some light to what the fuck has been going in the club these last 2 years.

They will make evaluations after the season. No way they are gonna risk anything at this point. We need to make the CL next season too, disrupting that hunt now would be too big of a risk for the management (and the owners).

I just hope they don't do any stupid transfers in the January to commit even more to Conte.

The video clearly shows a person who's dissatisfied after a meeting. He did the same thing most people would do. He decided to accept his boss decision and follow his boss orders. Zhang decided to satisfy Conte's demands as long as they didn't have a big impact on the budget and Marotta only tried to execute his boss decision.

What are we risking a plank of wood should finish top 4 with this team and we ll not win the scudetto with conte in charge.
What we might do though is offload Eriksen and Skriniar for Depaul and Smalling to fuck up our squad even more and leave a bigger trainwreck in summer sounds like a great plan.

Now the argument that management will reign him in remember what happened in summer when conte was pissed at mgm he s gonna lash out publicly again and he ll blame everybody and their mothers for our short commings but him selfe...

Where the hell is the upside in continuing with the dumb fuck?

Its written on the fuckig walls what will happen.....
Only reason to keep him here is if you seriously think we ll challenge for the scudetto everything else is BS and will harm inter on the long run.

Then he s not doig his fucken job we have established a long time ago that Zhang has no fucken clue of football...
Also there s a way of appeasing the coach without giving him exactly what he wants, we did not do that. WTF we gonna do with kolarov and vidal once cuntes gone?
Also he might just have been dissatisfied with the way the meeting was held. If i come out of a multiple hour meeting that was tedious i m not looking any better even if i got out of it what i wanted.

I get your point Il Drago but then imho he should have resigned. If you not agreeing with your boss and have to do what he wants and not what you wants you will never give 100%. You will do your job because he asked you to do it but you can't be passionate about something. And for me if you are the age of Marotta and have enough money so you don't have to worry about your future you should resign and let someone else do the job for you.

I know this isn't how the real world works, but it should be. So I'm finding it hard to believe Marotta wanted Conte out badly, he could have been dissatisfied but he didn't completely disagreed with Zhang.

No arguments with that and that's why i am very disappointed with Marotta. He was supposed to be the guy to bring direction to the club but instead we're back to blindly follow whatever the coach demands.

@Materazzi, unless the working unvironment is unbearable or there's another offer available, no employee is going to resign and leave money on the table. Especially when the salary is worth millions.

Honestly, if Conte with his 12m cannot bear to take responsibility, can this fuck at least man up and take responsibility for the failure he brought and the manchild captor he enforced on us?

Is it too much to ask for someone from the management to take responsibility for writing history as the first time we ever finished 4th in the group? For fuck's sake, this was also the first time in three years we weren't the Pot 4 team....

I would get that if we were in that position.(I'm just assuming who don't have millionaires on this forum). But if you the age of Marotta, you have enough money to do whatever you want would you stay at a job if you don't agree with your boss and you need to implement a plan that you do not support why would you stay?

For me it's clear that if Conte goes Marotta should go to and vice versa, they are connecting to each other.

Vidal was 0€ and Kolarov was 2m€, peanuts. Of course we can't ignore Conte completely, but I would not say we are 100% backing on Conte either. His costly requests (Kante and Alonso) do not come here eventually.

Plus Skriniar hasn't been sold, Eriksen comes without Conte approval. Has Conte frozen him out, Marotta can't do anything else but sell him. After that well-known meeting some conflicts between Marotta and Conte were clear, no longer on the same boat.

If Zhang doesn't put hands in his pocket (50m at least), we have to live with Conte.
