Beppe chose violence :ROFLMAO:

Inter Milan President Beppe Marotta On AC Milan owner Gerry Cardinale's inflammatory statements that Inter are bankrupt:

"I didn't want to say anything, however, now I think the time has come to respond. These statements are out of line, disrespectful of the image of the club.

"I think Cardinale is confused. It is true that these last few years our majority shareholders have had financial difficulties.

"However, already a couple of years ago, they were supported by Oaktree who now own the club, and they have drawn up the guidelines.

"However, Inter's management is a completely different matter. We comply with Financial Fair Play, with the national licenses who are very rigid with respect to financial criteria.

"We have gone from an annual loss of €246 million to €36m, during which we have won the Supercoppa and the Scudetto.

"And since it is Christmas, I'll also add a bit of irony: we have won the second star and we are the only club in Milan to have achieved this."

Marotta: “I want to stay at Inter for a long Time”

Inter Milan President Beppe Marotta has expressed his desire to remain with the club for the foreseeable future in a wide-ranging interview with Sky Sport. The interview, part of a documentary titled “L’anno dell’Inter” (Inter’s Year), covered various aspects of the club’s operations and Marotta’s role within it.

Inter’s European Resurgence

Marotta highlighted Inter’s return to prominence on the European stage, stating, “At the European level, Inter has returned to being one of the most authoritative protagonists. The history and achievements of this club tell us that many trophies have been won, so we have returned to the stage most befitting our history. At this moment, with the new ownership, we are giving continuity to this situation.”

Gratitude to Oaktree and New Responsibilities

The Inter president expressed his gratitude to the new ownership, Oaktree Capital Management, for their trust in him. “First of all, I must thank the ownership for giving me immediate trust, greater responsibility by appointing me president of a club like Inter. It’s something extraordinary for my career, always looking at an Inter that is winning and full of good results,” Marotta said.

He added that his new role hasn’t changed much, except for an even greater dedication and commitment to the club.

Praise for Simone Inzaghi

Marotta had high praise for Inter manager Simone Inzaghi: “Inzaghi has proven to be a great professional and an intelligent person. He arrived at Inter on tiptoes, without making proclamations. He grew as he achieved results, gaining awareness of his own abilities. He is a leader, he knows how to instill a culture of work, passion, and a sense of belonging.”

Squad Strategy and Italian Core

Discussing the team’s composition, Marotta emphasized the importance of balancing youth and experience. He also stressed the significance of having a strong Italian core in the squad: “A strong Italian core is fundamental, I believe the results demonstrate this. In Italy, the championship is unique; nowhere else is there this pressure.”

Future Transfer Market Guidelines

Looking ahead to future transfer windows, Marotta outlined the club’s strategy: “In the next season, we will guarantee maximum competitiveness through players younger than those of today, but who also represent quality, professionalism, and assets.”

He elaborated on the guidelines set by Oaktree: “We must seek economic and financial sustainability. This sustainability comes through guidelines. What are they? The squad must respond to economic limits from the point of view of labor costs, the average age must guarantee investing in young people who represent an asset, and contribute to giving sustainability.”

Long-term Commitment to Inter

When asked about his future with the club, Marotta expressed his contentment and ambition: “Yes, I’m happy at Inter, so I hope to deliver results and contribute to achieving them.”

Champions League Aspirations

Reflecting on past Champions League final losses with Inter and Juventus, Marotta emphasized the importance of ambition in sport: “I believe we must always guarantee the opportunity to be there, after which you win or lose. We must pursue being there at the right moment; it’s not an act of arrogance, but of sporting ambition. In sport, you have to be ambitious, otherwise you don’t win.”

This stuff sounds reassuring, and he wasn't a gaslighting type when giving interviews in recent memory, so yeah, something to really count on I guess.

The biggest problems with this youth strategy is just buying youth for the sake of youth. Hopefully the quality aspect will be taken into account as well, like the statement hinted.

Yeah and I kind of trust Ausilio on this one. What might be the problem is if the prices end up going simply too high for us. But I don't believe at all our strategy will be buying youth just for the sake of it.

Bisseck was a nice add. Palacios looks promising based on those few minutes he has played (better for the Bastoni role than Augusto, who's more for the pure defending). There's always a purpose, but if we want to really start to rejuvenate the squad with younger players taking more meaningful roles, we need to accept higher costs. Bisseck and Palacios were fairly cheap acquisitions.

Let's be honest, bisseck and palacios are the youth for the sake of youth type of deals. We basically hit a jackpot with bisseck, but more often than not those deals are not noteworthy for the levels we require. When you go to 20-25 mil deals, which is the rumored budget we will have, that's where you can find good deals IF you know what you are looking for. Younger players with those prices usually have one or two seasons playing cl football or doing something notable.

That's the type of players milan are targeting for a couple of years now like reijnders, okafor, chukweze, pavlovic etc... It's just that their methods of picking players is retarded more often than not, and they are following algorithms like idiots, plus they don't have stability at all in terms of systems in which they play which makes it even harder to incorporate younger players. We have all the mentioned stuff they lack, so hopefully we can make it work.

Milan's problem is placing more weight on their younger new players.

Whereas we finally have a structure and can accommodate these players. One by one at a time.

Bisseck wasn't even that young. The main thing about Bisseck is that we got him from a lower league and he proved in one season he was worth the money. I was very critical of the move at first, since it felt like we spent too much on an unknown entity, but they proved me wrong

I don't fully accept a statement Bisseck and Palacios were youth for the sake of youth signings. I can give we maybe got lucky with Bisseck regarding how well (and fast) he panned out.

But we need to give credit Ausilio and the scouting staff too, it's unfair for them if we don't give them credit when they find this kind of player for that money.

But yes, when we step up from the price range of 10m to 20-25m, our selection of players widens, which should make it a bit easier for Ausilio and his crew.

He was 23 when he came here. Not really a youth project type transfer

Lol. Those guys are clearly obsessed with Inter. They think that Inter is a mafia organization which controls the whole Italy on every level. And this hate towards Marotta. Some of them blame him for everything including that scandal 2-3 seasons ago.

So the four Supercoppa teams changed gifts in Riyadh in Italian embassy.

This is Beppe giving a gift to Milan:

Okay dunno why the embedding doesn't work (at least for me), here's the pic

What an ultimate troll. A humiliation. He's feeding Zlatan all that feces and Zlatan needs to eat it, with a smile on his face. Poetic.
