What do you call spending 65M€ on Lazaro and Correa? Or 10M€ on golden handshakes to aging players?Marotta is limited by Stivie, He is not a magician.
He can do a great things but he can not pay out of his pocket.
Also doesn't help when you don't have the FIGC in your pocket with every main rival destroyed internally or by your organization.Yeah I think Marotta is a good exec but he’s made some terrible calls while here. These mistakes are especially crucial now with the budget being non-existent.
Find me one executive who doesn't make mistakes. Everyone praises Giuntoli for finding gems, especially the Georgian kid, but it's the same guy who spent 144m on Lozano, Manolas, Meret, Lobotka and Petagna. What do you call spending 65M€ on Lazaro and Correa? Or 10M€ on golden handshakes to aging players?
Anyone can run a club with an unlimited budget. While our financial situation is dire you can't say Marotta is getting the most out of it.
You’re seriously not alluding that getting Acerbi is what’s leading Inter to bankruptcy are you? Or getting Onana and Mkhitaryan on a free?marotta should been to evaluated first before inzaghi. his signing were shit. What was the meaning of Mhikitaryan, Lakaka, Acerbi, Onana signing if they can not play every match available? their signing costed inter too much and we are in danger on bankruptcy to waste these little funds.
Mkhi? Surely not. Missed the start with an injury, very inconsistent and i am not even sure he has a role in our system. For me it's Onana and Acerbi. They have both looked decent in the few times they played but sample is really small. Asllani would have probably been our best signing but Inzaghi doesn't play him at all. This is more of a semi serious question, but I’m still going to ask:
Who has been our best summer signing so far?
I can’t believe I’m saying this but it’s probably either Mkhi or Acerbi![]()
Please tell me you're trolling. If Inter had lost 3 starters on a free (in their prime) and had 35 year old Giroud as the only serious option in attack FIF would have gone into meltdown. Also who gets the credit for hiring Giampaolo?
Donnarumma, Calhanoglu and Kessie out of the club without a fee.
And yet he has one big miss. Rushing to offload Paqueta who got sold for double the price two years later.Donnarumma, Calhanoglu and Kessie out of the club without a fee.
And let's see when Milan starts spending more money on players, how he will fare. Now Maldini has operated with pretty limited budget so there can't even be some big misses.
He managed bringing Lukaku for lesser money than MU was asking at the time.
It was a difficult negotiation that lasted whole summer, but he didn't bend down to MU's demands.
Then managed selling him for a record breaking price to Chelsea. There were like 40-50M profit plus scudetto.
Managed selling Icardi for the money higher than his worth.
Had we not had Marotta at the time, we'd probably have ended up extending his contract for 5 years with 10M salary per year, no scudetto, no nothing, with witnessing Wanda's remarks on TV about shitty teammates surrounding her husband.
lets hope he doesnt leave, or we find someone with his same vision and strengthMarotta is limited by Stivie, He is not a magician.
He can do a great things but he can not pay out of his pocket.
