Anyone can run a club with an unlimited budget. While our financial situation is dire you can't say Marotta is getting the most out of it.

Find me one executive who doesn't make mistakes. Everyone praises Giuntoli for finding gems, especially the Georgian kid, but it's the same guy who spent 144m on Lozano, Manolas, Meret, Lobotka and Petagna.

I think Marotta is a good director but he has obviously made mistakes in the last 12 months, especially last summer. I also have my doubts if he's the right guy to move forward at the club's current state. And the same applies to Ausilio. When you don't have money you can't limit yourself to just Serie A. You need to search EVERYWHERE for hidden gems. Also signing veterans on high salaries isn't a wise thing to do when you count on selling players to remain sustainable. You need to add value to the squad.

I think it’s clear to say that this period when he has been here has not been easy, as first Covid hit and then Suning financial troubles... I think it’s not easy to build team if you don’t have money, but he showed what he can do if he has some. But everyone do mistakes, most of us know that.

But it’s also clear we have had succes under Marotta regime and over all I think he and our managment has done good job. Luckily we still have a team that can fight for a scudetto if we have right guy to lead these players and we have valuable players who we can sell and start a rebuild, if needed!

But Inzaghi seems to be one of those mistakes that Marotta have made and what I feared? Inzaghi seems to lack right charisma to lead a top team and his subs usually don’t work… I get it was ”logical” move to get a guy who use same formation that you have build last two years. But most of us knows that every new coach and player is a risk and there are many factors that can influence it’s succes.

But I’m not against if anyone leaves… I just have doubts that can someone like Ausilio manage Inter? Can we still attract top players and top coaches, do any of our ”star players” wan’t to stay at Inter if we don’t have top managment? Will we go back to where players and their agents run the show?

I think Marotta reputation is a asset for Inter and he is well respected in football world. Of course there are others who can do the job, but I have my doubts can we get better people to run this team? We still have Suning as a owners, do any other top CEO wan’t to come here now if Marotta leaves?

Marotta looks bad because Inter lost Perisic, didn't get Dybala and or Bremer. Not going blame him for the Correa deal that was Inzaghi. The golden handshake to Vidal was purely an accounting decision and was Conte's guy if I am remembering correctly and it appears no one wanted him in Europe anyway. The puzzler is Sanchez, how much was that on the bean counters, Inzaghi's reluctance to play him, and just bad timing because of ownership restrictions. Lazaro, I can't remember why in the first place, probably the baleful notion that "he's got to be better than Candreva `.
His recent acquisitions of Gosens, Allsani and Bellanova, well, how can we as fans evaluate truly if they never see the pitch.
As for putting him out to pasture too this summer, that's up to and when Inter gets new ownership. The glaring problem is the scouting for new blood. Finding some stars in some backwater is crucial when your financially strapped.

Correa came because Marotta failed to get a replacement for Lukaku other than Dzeko. He failed to get 6-7 players and then we got Correa. Stop putting this on Inzaghi, if he was a priority he'd be here from mid July, not the last week of August.

Correa could have never come from mid July because there was no money. We couldn't even sign a Hakimi replacement before Lukaku sale as we were only offering loan with option deals.

Managed selling Icardi for the money higher than his worth. Had we not had Marotta at the time, we'd probably have ended up extending his contract for 5 years with 10M salary per year, no scudetto, no nothing, with witnessing Wanda's remarks on TV about shitty teammates surrounding her husband.

You’re seriously not alluding that getting Acerbi is what’s leading Inter to bankruptcy are you? Or getting Onana and Mkhitaryan on a free?

And who else could we have got on the same level as Lukaku for under 9 million? And before people say Dybala I can guarantee you by the end of the season Dybala is going to miss more games than Lukaku

Mkhi? Surely not. Missed the start with an injury, very inconsistent and i am not even sure he has a role in our system. For me it's Onana and Acerbi. They have both looked decent in the few times they played but sample is really small. Asllani would have probably been our best signing but Inzaghi doesn't play him at all.

Nope, we paid full price. It just took us longer to accept it and Conte was throwing tantrums because Lukaku agreed to move to Juventus in the meantime (in an exchange for Dybala) which never went through because Dybala refused the move to England.
That's when we paid full price. We were looking for Cavani during that collapse with Manchester but didn't go through with it. But at least thate opened up the discussion for Icardi to PSG.
