Fine, we won the first 2 games and these are valuable 6 points, mainly the Fiorentina one.

All being said and as we all know, Conte should get the defence right and it better be soon. Bastoni was rested today, De Vrij was suspended and Skriniar was sidelined in the last match but even with those 3, it will not be easy with the current way we are playing in the defensive phase. May be Kante might make a difference I guess or is Conte playing like this to push the management to bring him anyhow?

Good teams will punish us badly with the way we are defending. I hope Conte works on that, starting from next game (Lazio).

It was good to see the offensive phase of our last 2 games. Let us just hope that we do the same with our defensive approach. There needs to be some balance in both the phases of the game.

I'm cautiously optimistic. Benevento will more than likely be a relegation level side so I don't take a ton out of todays game. But we played really well moving forward. Next game will be the true test. With the way our defense looks, we better see a lot of the ball til it improves.

that second goald really aint on Kolarov, but on De Vrij who goes for an interception way out of the box and doesnt get the ball. Thats how we are getting goals, the defensive line is too high and when there's a counter there is no way our slow defenders can get back.

also, before the first goal there was a clear foul on Gagliardini, but the retarded ref didn't stop the play. I am also very surprised it took this long that our passing the ball with Handa finally cost us a goal.
