Well they're right. He's pretty shit in defending. Even in attack he has been inconsistent. He stretches wing well but his decision making is poor. Nothing like last season. That's why Alonso has switched to a back 4 lately with Arthur as rb and Frimpong in a more forward role.

Objectively, UCL holders vs Europa League holders is probably a bigger draw than us against Leverkusen. Hell, Real Madrid in general is probably a bigger draw than us and Leverkusen put together, sad as it is to say.

That was in August, I dont think this would be result if we play vs them today.

Actually quite interested to see this Zielinski, Calha, Frattesi partnership in action— it’s a good balance of characteristics on paper, albeit a bit light defensively. We’ve probably seen this combo already but we’re starting to gain our footing more now.
