Beccalossi explaining Motta "foul" for red card

ps. I think Beca made me change my mind :D

 i understand the need to raise your arms to maintain balance but there's absolutely no need to put your hands out that high. Otherwise tall players like Veiria would be red carded every game.

do you think motta would have been red-carded if busquets stayed on his feet instead of going down faster than a hooker's underwear?

That's the key.

I still think 1/3 was Motta silliness, and 2/3 was Busquets acting the part of this sending off, but now I think it shouldn't be the card at all.

I watched again the Eto'o Messi situation, and it was exactly the same, if not even worse, cause Eto'o kinda hit Messi with his hand, while Motta was more like sticking his hand out, and Busquets running into it. The difference was that Messi didn't roll on the floor, and it was called only a foul.

So the key here is that Busquets dived like a bitch, if he didn't there would be nothing in this situation.

ironically, if they beat us 2-0, Busquets will be hailed as hero...
and Xavi said we were playing anti football...

If 11 against 11, I surely believe we will score 1 or 2 goals, as before motta sent off.. We're starting to have a grip on the game.

Until I saw this on match analysis, I didn't think the goal was an offside:

I'll upload it in youtube and you'll see how this comes...

Alright Bessi, I would like to see how does it look from a video.

For now, I don't trust at this really.. It looks like animated :)

It is animated. I think it is one of those systems, that translate the video to the computer simulation, and that allows you to rotate camre 360 degrees.

In that image it shows it was slight offside. Let us remind ourselves that for the offside we take into account all part of the body that can be used to strike the ball, not only the feet.

It's the same when we scored a goal against Catania[08/09], when this system was used to see if the ball was in the net or not, remember? Cause I'm pretty lazy to look for that CD to tell that to you :p

I think Inter can request for Motta's red card to be reviewed. But in any event, even if he received a yellow card he still would have been suspended for the final. Thus far, I have not heard or read any news suggesting that Inter plan to request a review or appeal the decision although Motta has himself said that he wishes for the matter to be reviewed so he has a chance of playing in the final.

I'm actually wondering what's next for Ibra, cause right after the game Pep Guardiola was talking about buying David Villa. All I got to say is thanks for the money and players ;D I used to love Ibra but even if you change 1 of the colors in his case black went to red I don't like you anymore ;]

p.s. Dario, Eto'o was useless? Did you watch the 1st leg? if so, kill yourself.

I loved Eto'o in the second leg. Seeing him play out of position in defence when we were reduced to 10 men was phenomenal. It was funny seeing him so far out of position. And as if that was not enough, seeing his little girl in the stands decked out in an Inter uniform and calling to her father was a beautiful memory of our advancing to the Champions League final. Not bad for a player that is yet to be at the club for a season. Mario could learn a great deal from his teammates if he bothered to open his eyes.
