This has not been a topic of Inter and its fans. Our players and fans have let us down on occassions.
The thing is that we were expecting Barcelona to be too perfect but just proved to be like any other teams after their loss. That is what we have been discussing.
Eh, really?? So you mean that they got pissed for losing? WOW!
Btw. be glad that you didn't win like this against Chelsea, otherwise you would have had Ballack and Drogba running at your players and referee, English media for about 2 years not stopping how Chelsea got robbed and at the point you get kicked out again against any team, they would celebrate it as if one of their own had done it.
Talking about Milito's offside goal on and on - yes it was sadly. Then, the penalty decision (Sneijder made a mistake there going for that tackle but thankfully he pulled in the very last second) ... But not one idiot talked about those two stupid - offside and foul calls, which would have put our player one on one with the Barca goalkeeper.
Who talked about those decisions? Xavi, Pep, Puyol, Messi? Who exactly? Pep didn't use a single word against the referee, he didn't bring the 14 hour bus journey into the game at all, not one guy in the team or anywhere else said anything against Inter or about the penalty.
And seriously, you are comparing about 2 possible 1 on 1 situations that could have ended in 2 goals with a not given penalty and a wrongly allowed goal? Serious dude?
All those rumours of Inter players' hotel being disturbed with noises and that stupid sprinkles when Inter was celebrating. Lets not even talk about that peek-peek :wallbang:
And your players don't dive and waste time I guess?
LOL about the hotel. The hotel was a big complex where even if a nuclear attack had happened, you wouldn't have heard it. Besides, I guess they were also ordered by the club to do it and it wasn't done by fans(the number were 20 btw. oof...)
While it wasn't nice. The incident was started by the valencia player punching burdisso and then running away. The inter players defended their team mate.
So they defended their teammate by attacking the opponent player? Look man, the simple point is that no one likes to lose and while some after defeat are sour and sad, the next day they say life goes on and try to get over it. None of our players has still a grudge, Pep himself defended Inter's style of play and said whoever wins, wins and is right and everyone has the right to play the way they want. Mou himself said after the game that he is like that too and has trouble losing and you know how he at times reacts in defeat.
Just saying, if you don't like a "holier than thou" attitude and all that, don't act like that yourself. No player and no one from the coaching staff said at any point anything disrespectful about Inter or its players. The only one who played the wind up merchant and talked too much was Motta, who himself was notoriously knowing for diving and cheating, although no hard feelings against him either, since he's my man too for what he did in the past.
