rumours of this being Barca's first 11

MATS

Garcia, Pique, Alonso

Busi, FDJ

Dembele, Gavi, Pedri, Balde

Lewa

looks crazy, probably more a 3421 than 3241
barca is technically playing with 2 defenders since Alonso will spent most of his time camping at our half and busquet is useless when he has large space to cover. The problem is if 1) we can weather the furious storm considering they play 8 crafty attackers and 2) if we can exploit their defensive vulnerability with our awful counter attack.

watching this Barca game against Celta, I have a bad feeling
Why? Barca were awful and really lucky to win, according to their fans.

The Grada d’Animaciò, the group of the most radical Barcelona fans, made an appeal on social media, asking to ‘support the team as they deserve’, adding a picture that needs no explanation.

I've heard lukaku won't be back until fiorintina now. Is this cunt just saving himself for the world cup?? That'll be what, 3 months? Fuck off. He'd be really needed tomorrow, his counter skill would be devastating
That why he came here so yeah, why not? We signed up for that.

They way Barcelona are carrying I’m genuinely starting to think they’ll go bankrupt if they don’t win this match
Their propaganda machine is working overtime. Their papers have even tried to put pressure on Bayern claiming they will lose on purpose to Inter in order to eliminate Barca because they're still pissed with Lewandowski transfer.

This reminds me of the second game against Tottenham, where Spalletti went for 0-0 and we lost at the end.
I expect more of the same from Inzaghi too.

We have bottled almost all of the big matches this season , the only good result we had was last week vs Barca.

Lazio, Milan, Udinese, Bayern, Roma.

I'll keep my expectations really low tomorrow. The referee pressure, 90k full house, no Brozo or Lukaku, Inzaghi's typical panic subs when we concede etc.

But it would be nice to not lose.

INZAGHI: ‘INTER ARE NOT DEFENSIVE AGAINST BARCELONA’
Simone Inzaghi maintains Inter deserve credit for forcing Barcelona to play badly and defends the refereeing decisions ahead of their Champions League showdown at Camp Nou. ‘We are not defensive.’

This remains a head-to-head for qualification in second place behind runaway leaders Bayern Munich, as the Nerazzurri are on six points and Barca three.

“I said that we made the most of our opportunity in the last game, we know how important this is and that we must give something extraordinary. We’re fighting to get through this group with all we’ve got,” said Inzaghi in his press conference.

“It will be tough, but we are Inter and will try to play our game to cause Barcelona problems.”

Last week’s 1-0 result was decided by a Hakan Calhanoglu strike, but there were also huge protests from Barcelona over a last-gasp penalty that wasn’t given for handball.

“I usually don’t talk about the referee, but I did see that UEFA judged it a good performance at San Siro from their officials.

“I saluted President Laporta cordially at San Siro after the match, Barca were very polite.”

Xavi and Pedri described Inter as ‘defensive’ and compared them to Jose Mourinho’s counter-attacking side that won the Treble in 2010.

“Absolutely not, we know Inter’s history and so do you. We played very good football for months, which was recognised in Italy and Europe. There are moments in a season when you have to adjust, but the first half was satisfying and after the break we sat deeper to smother the spaces open to Barcelona.”

With Marcelo Brozovic injured, we could see Kristjan Asllani or Calhanoglu in that midfield role, while Romelu Lukaku and Joaquin Correa have not made the trip.

“The players don’t know the starting XI either, as I am keeping those doubts with me until tomorrow. I still have time to decide.

“I have two strikers who have played three or four games in a row, so at most I could always decide to push Calhanoglu or Mkhitaryan forward into the role of second striker. I would’ve preferred obviously for both teams to face each other at full strength, but injuries are part of the sport.

“I maintain Inter deserve much of the credit for forcing Barcelona to play badly at San Siro. Objectively, Andre Onana did not have many tough saves to make. Tomorrow will be different, the stadium is behind them and fired up, all Italian sides have struggled at Camp Nou historically.

“We can expect many Barcelona crosses into the box, we must have solid marking and be aggressive, solid, determined.”

LAUTARO MARTINEZ HAS NO BARCELONA REGRETS: ‘PROUD TO BE INTER SYMBOL’
Lautaro Martinez has no regrets about the time he nearly joined Barcelona, committing himself to Inter and hoping to break his goal drought against them tomorrow.
This remains a head-to-head for Champions League Round of 16 qualification in second place behind runaway leaders Bayern Munich, as the Nerazzurri are on six points and Barca three.

It was absolutely no secret that the Blaugrana tried to sign Lautaro Martinez several times over the last few years, but he signed a new contract to stay at San Siro.
Inevitably, he was asked about those transfer rumours in his press conference in Catalunya.

“I work to help my teammates and to improve every day. I feel very proud to be a symbol of Inter. It has been many years since the negotiations with Barcelona, I am at Inter now and I give everything for this team,” replied Toro.

“We know Barcelona have a lot of quality in one-on-one situations, but we controlled the game quite well at San Siro and will try to do what we prepared here too.
“We would not be happy with just a draw here, though.”

Angel Di Maria limped off for Juventus this evening and is at risk for the World Cup, as is Roma star Paulo Dybala, so Argentina will be keeping a close eye on Lautaro Martinez’s fitness.
“They are two very important players, we’ll see. Hopefully Di Maria’s injury is not serious.”

Lautaro Martinez has not found the net for several matches and Simone Inzaghi urged him to keep focusing on creating the opportunities.
“I am calm, doing my work for the team. Every striker has periods like this and the goal comes when you least expect it.”
Not happy with a draw?! Then beat them!

Yea we need Gossen or Dumfries if we are playing Dzeko up front or with a lone striker, and Gossen is better with the def.
It is just DiMarco is in such good form though, also I think 3-5-1 is a good formation against Barca.
