Bannings and Suspensions

I have been warned twice privately by Handoyo for cursing at members -- this is something I haven't done/ seldom done since May 21st and generally warned numerous mostly, for off topic posting. I was banned twice. The first time was for cursing at people. The second was for off topic posting/personally attacking Nima.

Adam, was also warned on occasions as well and still made that comment towards Vito.

I'm not trying to play the innocent role here. I unknowingly broke the rules and if I am to face sanctions then so be it. But I simply want fairness in making decisions. What Adam did was no worse or any better than what I did but I fear that his friendship towards to staff may allow him to get off with a slap on the wrist while I risk a permanent banning.

I'm on friendly terms with every one here, except maybe a few, but the only mod who's on my msn, which I hardly ever have time to use anyway, is Hamed. So stop talking nonsense.

But you know what I think you're right Nyall. Both of us should be banned. And it should be harsh too considering the zero tolerance policy of the board. As a first time offender I think I shuld be banned for about a month, just to set a precedent that no racism or xenophobia is allowed on the forum. Maybe it's a little harsh considering the normal ban for such an offense, but I think a one month ban sets a really nice precedent.

You on the other hand would be on your third strike, so I'm afraid you would have to get a much, much harsher punishment. I'm really gonna miss you but I commend you for stepping up to the plate and taking your punishment like a man. I won't have much time to post the coming month anyway, because I'm gonna be studying 24/7, and I can always post on the other Inter forum when I have the time.

Richard Philly has been permanently banned. He has been banned for continuous insulting behavior towards fellow members. The reason its permanent is because this was his third ban.

Nyall has been banned for one month. This is his third ban; previously he was banned for a week and was given a soft ban of 1 day in the past. The reason is his behavior has been very provocative lately and he has not changed despite repeated warnings.

Excluding warnings, infractions and soft ban, it goes this way: 1 week, 1 month, permanent.
