Tough match on paper, but also simple— if we stay compact and do our counter-attacking thing well, we should have it. Gasperini never gives enough respect to teams that can hurt you in transition.

We have a great record away from home this season, we haven't conceded a goal yet. But at the same time, Atalanta has a great record at home. They haven't conceded a goal as well. It's gonna be a first thing for both teams whatever happens in this one.

Hopefully we take advantage of our chances in this game.

We are absolute favourites on paper, but that doesn't mean much as long as you don't put in a real effort. We need to be competent and get the job done because being cocky in other matches has bitten us in the ass.

This will be a good test for us. Scamacca and Lookman (assuming they start) can give us a tough time. Koopmeiners is maybe their most important player imo.

There is a potential mismatch in Thuram vs. Kolasinac as Kolasinac, while strong, is much slower than Thuram.

I assume we go with our 'first 11' in this match, meaning the same line-up as against Roma. I think that makes sense given there is no midweek match.

Unless it ends 0-0.

Yeah, my bad. But also that would mean first draw for us away from home. We have a perfect record so far. Let's see what happens.

Atalanta currently are 4th with 19 points. They will go for a win, which will open up the game.

Draw would be fine, they are unstoppable at home this season.

Interesting match and quite unpredictable. Hope we take the right approach, make more accurate shots and take the 3 points.

Our scudetto exams starts on Saturday 19 CET

@ Atalanta
Vs Frosinone
@ Juvee

Then @Salzburg @Benfica inbetween to fight out with Sociedad of whom will finish 2nd in UCL.

@ Napoli

Then vs Sociedad

@Lazio

A full month and half of big game action and testing wether Inzaghi and the players can handle the scudetto pressure.

Its time!!

Any idea when Arna is back? Beginning of November or at the end?

He is supposed to come back in the earlier phase of November as per latest reports. Still not sure since I haven't seen any news in a while now, but there was optimism for his quicker recovery.

What’s his injury history like over the past 2 seasons? Can we even rely on him moving forward (no pun intended), or should we definitely look for a striker in the winter window?

Recent reports seemed to indicate he should be in the squad for Salzburg. We shall see. Either way, we should come to an agreement with Austria for him not to play international games over the break.

This one maybe tricky, it's away and Atalanta looked pretty good against Empoli. Scamacca was a force, Lookman, Ederson and Koopmeiners looked decent as well. This current version of Atalanta looks different too. Instead of the Gasperini " set controls for the heart of the sun" approach they appear to play with some defensive structure as well. This could be a real test. Forza Inter.
