Ederson got booked for dissent, and then when he got booked he gave a sarcastic clap to the referee. De Roon tried to get him away from the referee the moment he noticed that but it was too late, he was already seen. Sarcastic clapping is an automatic booking, if you're stupid enough to do it after you've gotten a yellow then that's squarely on you. Ederson earned that red card, he has to be smarter than that.

Which is exactly why I'm laughing at people panicking about Inter right now. At least we are in the game for the title, if we win the league this season it will be a hard-earned title. And if we don't, we'll write essays in what went wrong.

But being so pessimistic at this moment (not saying you are) is just mindboggling to me. We did not have such a slump as City are having.

We already talked about how we should've done more this summer, but even if we did, there is no guarantee that our new players wouldn't get injured or that they would perform to the level we need them to. Dumfries only activated after contract renewal. Lautaro had a big slump. And yet, we are doing just fine. Inter fans should be happy we actually know what we are doing.

And even after that we drew Milan, lost to Fiorentina and Juventus and drew Napoli... and yet we are +3 with 9 games still to go.

Most of Serie A is underperforming this season, even Inter. Even not winning against main rivals, and yet here we are and we look like we found our form. This Inter has the juice!

If 2 teams are level at the top, then they play a 1 match playoff.

If 3 teams are tied at the top of the table, I believe the head-to-head mini-table is used to determine the top 2 which would then play a 1 game playoff with the 3rd team being told to fuck off.

1) Head to head is first criteria - we beat Atalanta and draw with Napoli
2) Head to head goal difference is next - we draw with Napoli
3) Overall goal difference is third - we beat Napoli
4) Overall goals scored - not that it would come to this but we would beat Napoli if they somehow levelled the goal difference.
