I think Conte is one of the few managers who's capable of winning titles with a team that's not expected to, he did it with Juve and Chelsea.

I don't get why we're debating his abilities the team has improved under him and we've attracted better players with him at the helm.

He was expected to win with both of those teams.

He was hired by Chelsea with the expectation of winning titles.
He was hired by Juventus with the expectation to compete in their inaugural season at their new stadium.

He was hired by Italy in order to win the Euro and he choked the team selection so hard that people even praised him for not reaching expectations.

He was hired by Inter to compete. Arguably he has done that, albeit with many asterisks. This season is make or break for him.

I just came here to say that seeing how Conte is shaping Inter, it has become obvious to me that he's tryina build Noah's Ark: He's taking two from each nationality, hoping they'll pair up and mate, probably in front of Bojan:

Belgium: Lukaku/Nainggolan
Chile: Sanchez/Vidal
Croatia:Brozovic/Perisic
Uruguay: Godin/Vecino

...and a whole bunch of Italians as a base layer like a good Tiramisu. Now we need to find a pair for Lautaro and De Vrij so they can create healthy offspring too.

You can only make offspring if a chick is there guys....

Also only player he wanted are the Chileans and Lukaku. Everyone else he was stuck with. Tho to your point we want that English kid from Tottenham and Smalling so maybe he does want 2 of each.

I will say every time you guys post in the Conte thread I get nervous that he said something stupid and we don’t have a coach anymore or just ended up quitting because we didn’t Buy Messi.

He had a very good squad in Chelsea. Prime Hazard comes to mind. Still, a great accomplishment. With the likes of Pep, Klopp, Mourinho as his opponents.

Italian coaches certainly know their Premier League. I wonder why are they so successful there. Is it because they are good defensively?

Tactical coaches do well there because the british coaches are quite shit at it.

But yes, defensive organization and movement is a large part of it.

Now the rumors for Otamendi and Depay make sense.

He will be bitching about the lack of experienced players anyway.
