Fabio Bergomi:
Inter are betting everything on Antonio Conte coach from next year.
They want him they chose him .
We are in April but despite this we don't know the details and if it will happen.
But they are betting everything on him

Who is Fabio Bergomi?

Some guy who knows a few people at Inter and makes youtube videos and shit. Not related to Giuseppe Bergomi.

He's usually quite accurate. Doesn't mean that Conte will be back, but if he's saying we're on him, it probably means that Marotta will prioritize a return here.

Bergomi knows shit. Just saying controversial things to gain attention. He mostly gained followers with the PIF rumours. He changes his tune every other day about everything . Coaches. Ownership. Transfers. Sometimes he changes his tune even during the same day.

We do not have the finances to satisfy his transfer market requests
He knows our situation, so he won't ask for the impossible for sure. Maybe another loan of Lukaku and to keep the important players like Barella, Lautaro and Bastoni.
and it will inevitably end in golden handshake.
This is on spot. The contract with Conte shall be 1 year at max.

Haven't followed him in a while, but between 2018 and 2021 he was mostly spot on.

Don't confuse transmitted information with what eventually happened as something contradictory. Inter's plans have gone to shit in the last couple of seasons so it's one thing to say we want to do this and another to see what the club has actually done.

I also doubt that he has some walkie-talkie situation with club insiders, so whatever information may be outdated by the time it's posted. But of course, sometimes he talks out of his ass as well, or mixes up his opinion with what information he's gathered.

Definitely worth to follow what the guy says but obviously it's by no means gospel.

Well, if that's true then we should prioritize getting rid of Marotta right after Suning.

Terrible move if that happens. It means 4th coach in a row we have to give golden handshake to get rid of soon.

Requesting we waste another 20M on a Lukaku loan is enough reason to not bring Conte back.

There were rumors that Lukaku is ready to reduce significantly his salary in order to stay. It is possible Chelsea to lower their demands, considering his season too. Conte could make him regaining his form, as he did once.

I'd rather not bet on a declining player on the wrong side of the aging curve. There are better gambles out there.

GIOVINCO: ‘PLAYERS COULD BREATHE AND SMILE AGAIN AFTER CONTE LEFT’
Sebastian Giovinco reveals Juventus players felt ‘squeezed dry’ during Antonio Conte’s tenure and the moment he left they could ‘breathe and smile. We felt reborn.’

The coach is well known for his intensive training techniques and constant pressure poured on players, directors and even fans in his pursuit of perfection.

This is also why he has rarely spent more than two years in any job, leaving Juventus two days into pre-season training for what would’ve been his fourth campaign in Turin.

“He was just non-stop, like a jack hammer,” Giovinco told Cronache di Spogliatoio.

“I remember one time he told off Gigi Buffon for celebrating in the locker room, because we still had to keep pushing and achieve the record of 100 Serie A points.

“After he left, the players could breathe and smile again. We felt reborn, because we had been squeezed dry for years.”

This is of course player`s perspective. I`m sure the directors were mostly happy with Conte`s approach.

Inzaghi on the other hand gives too much freedom to the players and in return they act like spoiled brats.

wow, a coach that demands a lot from a team. Thats crazy... No wonder a player who wants to have fun, like this midget, would hate that. No surprise he ended in Canada in his prime.

Guy here had a squad capable of winning the Champions League and couldn't even get us out of the group. Twice.

I hope people remember that when some of us were saying that we could have won CL in those years, lot of people here were calling us crazy.

Embarrassing stuff.

What team? With Barella from Cagliari, Bastoni from Parma? With Handanovic? With Lukaku who just joined from another league who you said will flop in serie A? With all the toxic players he inherited from Spalletti? Did players have the experience in CL, they have now? Yes you are crazy and silly to ignore such factors.
