It's going to be worse than Fabio Capello. They want someone to instill some discipline there, Conte fits the bill, but I'm not sure if they will be satisfied with him. And the core team doesn't even like him, guys like Sergio Ramos who run the locker room I mean. Maybe he can win them over, but cannot tell that.

Ramos was said to have vetoed having Conte appointed the last time it was speculated back in 2018, but Ramos is out of contract now and negotiations haven't gone well (Ramos wants two years, Real only want to offer one). I don't know how conte will reconcile his tactics with real Madrid's squad. I mean it the total opposite, may be he will play 343 like in Chelsea but how will he do with the likes of kroos, modric, asensio etc. What about benzema? He is not a typical conte striker but he is important for and delivers a lot every season, will conte send him packing or what. It is also worth noting that their appointment of conte will likely give them huge probs with regards to signing mbappe, I don't know how he will use him and he will not sacrifice and defend for conte just like Lautaro even mpabbe is to be used as SS. I think there are so many hiccups surrounding Conte's presence in Madrid.

I actually think he would be a disaster at Real. I'm not sure if I'm in the majority on that one.

Stylistically I think he fits the bill, but I can't see him managing all those superstar egos. Conte's whole approach revolves upon having a chip on your shoulder. I'm not sure how that works in Madrid unless you're coaching Atleti.

Conte wants it to be about him always. People are going to get sick of him if he doesn't deliver immediately.
