There is no way that likes of Simone Inzhagi can replicate even half of what Conte has done..The limp way Laxio went out in the Champions league is proof of that..He is not a serial Winner..I dont know who should be bought it with regards to the current financial situation but certainly we needed Zidane or an upcoming " Mourinho" or Guardiola or someone..We had won Treble Just a decade back, we have won scudetto now..We cant lower our standards anymore..Just sell the Club instead of settling for people like Inzhagi..

They got ravaged by the best team in Europe. We would've befallen a very similar fate if we faced Bayern.

Complain about Lazio's mediocre xG totals and that Inzaghi's only CL campaign came from a season where they got a million penalty kicks. Complain about that time they fell apart late in the 2nd leg vs. Salzburg in the Europa League when they were in great shape. But the Bayern defeat is one of the very last things he and his Lazio team deserve blame for. They were completely overmatched.

I'm preparing to blow a gasket when I read that he's signed for Real Madrid after taking 7 million from us.

And get sacked by Real Madrid after a year.

Respect for his professionalism and what he was able to accomplish here, as well as flipping Agnelli the bird.

But how did this cunt get us to pay him 7mil in severance when he was the one who wanted out?

He wanted to stay, it was Inter that said sorry we have to make changes, do you accept and he said No.

It's not Conte's fault the club needs to make changes.

With Real he'd have a good chance of winning La Liga, but I dont think that team is good enough for winning the champions league. And with Conte's CL record, i dont know.

Take what's supposed to be a highly flair-focused team and drill them to being 11 robots, lol.

I cant see it panning out well to be honest. Can you imagine Hazard, the brazilian guys, etc, all just being robots? Even Ramos is not a mechanical defender how Conte would like.

Hazard actually was pretty good under Conte. The only problem is that it was the old Hazard that was actualy very good.

Speaking of Hazard, he was saying the worst about his time with Conte. Not that it will really matter as he doesn't seem to have future at the club.

Conte's biggest problem at Real is going to be the mentality of the organization. Counter-attacking football and going into-ultra defensive mode after taking the lead may be tolerated in Italy but this certainly won't be the case in Spain. Especially with public set to return next season. Real Madrid crrowd is very demanding. Results are enough for them. They also want to see beautiful problem.

Furthemore, winning the league may be considered great success at Juve, Inter or Chelsea but not at Real. They're used to challenging for CLevery season. And that has been Conte's main weakness throughout his career. There will be no more excuses for Conte at Real. He will have to deliver in Europe.

Not his fault? This has been his annual mercato routine in the last decade. He always demands more.

Remember last year? he threw a tantrums even after we already spent big money on Hakimi.

Appreciate his uncompromised attitude towards winning and grateful for the Scudetto but there gotta be a limit to what the club can afford and Conte simply knew no bounds.

Don't have one.

That was my exact thought on him being a manager of a club like madrid. He is perfect for a team like inter or maybe even a slightly higher quality like his Chelsea team, but real with all of their primadonas and flair players... Players need to bleed for him, and he needs to be the focal point, and when you have in your team dudes like sergio ramos or alaba with huge egos who won more trophies than conte himself that could be a potential problem.

Plus that rigidity of his and everyone having to memorize plays and passes basically becoming automatons... Completely different than what real madrid players experienced under zidane.

This. And it's not like this happened for the first time in Conte's career. He has been like that wherever he has gone. He left Juve because he thought they couldn't take next step in Europe without heavy investments and Allegri reached CL final with the same squad. He was crying throughout his second season at Chelsea and begging to get fired because they didn't get him Lukaku even though the club had spent a lot on transfers.

Conte will always be like that. And that's why he will never stay at a club for long.

Could somebody please explain why we payed Conte 7mil to leave?

There are many top clubs looking for a new manager, surely we could have let him go for free on a "gentleman's agreement".
And in the worst case that nobody wanted Conte, another season with him would have guaranteed another scudetto. Even if we sold 1-2 star players.

Guaranteed scudetto? They have allegri on their bench next season, not some inexperienced coach.

Would be hilarious if Inter and Real meet in the GS again and this time Inter go through and Real get eliminated. Conte would be the most awkward choice for Real considering his terrible CL record.

If he wanted to stay, he would've said yes.

Is Inter supposed to beg for him to stay at the end of every season? Noone is bigger than the club, if he can and wants to stay and actually guide the team during these tough times he stays and stop complaining about a situation pretty much every big club is facing, if he can't let him go throw his tantrums somewhere else and get someone who will actually try his best and not bring more complications in the picture.

Grateful for the scudetto but Inter can't be on their knees for him to stay every year, there is a reason why he never lasts on any job.

Is that reason simply down to the fact that he is a Hunchback cunt? Because I cannot see any reason past that explanation.

That's it, he's very difficult to work with imo. Being exigent is a OK, being capricious is not.
