Well it hasn't been done officially yet so why not get it out of the way then focus on the league?... A loss ain't a good thing to have on the players minds especially when we were playing decent Udinese this weekend and i assure you Anorthosis isn't going to be easy in Cyprus. A win should be priority.

As Stefan said, we shouldn't rest Zlatan now, since we have to win this match. Possibilities to victory are so much higher when Zlatan plays that he has to play. After the victory he can get rest for the two remaining group stage matches.

I would say test the 4-2-4 formation or 4-4-2 again. Our team seems to be doing best under such formation.

Rest Ibra, Maicon and give Quaresma, Mancini some more games. I rather they suck in this match than against Udinese

Its this system that made us suffer against the worst team in the league.Just look at the what happened when Reggina got the ball.They easily reached our box,got more chances and were able to get corners,fouls and more scoring oppourtinities hence the two goals..Which are the first two goals we conceded in one game this season (competitive).

Why would we play a system that allows numerous chances for the opposition,kills our midfield completley (as if they werent already looking useless)and puts pressure on our defense without having any advantage upfront...

Basically we had more scoring opportunities in other systems more than this one....

I think its arrogant to use this system because you totally disrespect the other team and it almost came back to bite us on the ass.Its only good in a hail mary kind of scenario with 10-15 minutes remaining.Other than that bury it alive...

If we really want to suprise and shake things up go back to 4-3-1-2 which will do wonders under Mou with the players we have.

Exactly like that. I didn't see Reggina-match, but I can imagine what happens when we have just two midfielders. Quaresma and Mancini are just too offensive to be considered as midfielders.

Don't know about 4-3-1-2 since we don't have proper player for AM position. Stankovic is just the same shit at the moment like in last season. Quaresma and Mancini are pure wingers. But for attack that would be the best choice as Zlatan could get his striker partner up front.

Hardly Mourinho will use that kind of formation.

I don't mind a 424 here. The only purpose would be to let Quaresma and Amantino free and hope they score and gain some confidence. For the tougher games ahead, the formation would of course differ.

I agree with some that Queresma and and especially A.Mancini are more forwards then midfielders, but at the same time, Maicon and Viera were also moving farward runs- hence their goals.

I also think that J.zanetti is more of a cover for the fullbacks and their runs farward then he is as a Midfielder.

Place Muntari in J.Zanetti's position and the formation adds more balance.

We really need to get our wings start flying. Most/A lot of Mourinho's tactic depends on wingers and our wingers simply do not have it atm. That is part of the reason why our team is suffering here and there.
