But how many veterans have we signed that actually proved to be worthwhile? Didn't signing the likes of Rocchi, Forlan, Vidic, Palombo, Kolarov and etc, etc. provide enough evidence that it's risky too? Yes, I agree, relying on a primavera kid is risky as well, but it's a lot cheaper and you can always offload them easily with minimum effect on your budget
Maybe the answer is that we, as a club, are awful at both scouting and signing players.

not sure, but we are definitely the best at hiring the wrong coaches, maybe MU can compete with us in that aspect

I'd say that Lucio and Miranda were top signings for us. Godin wasn't bad, but he was not good either. Pretty much like Campagnaro. Vidic was poor, and Kolarov abyssal. But, bear in mind that all of those players came from top clubs except Campagnaro and Kolarov. Acerbi from other hand is unwanted in a club like Lazio. I just imagine his impact at Inter.

yeah overpaid old fossil itself ranked up to bleed 200 mil per season, that's why inter is going to these endless, financial mess.

Awful at developing our own youth products as well. The holy trinity.

The debate in this thread is comical :D
Can't blame them though, I thought the same.
Imagine Acerbi one of the CL finalists :ROFLMAO:

We need an overhaul of the team, fontanarosa and zanotti in

they will be given for someone who is 32 and wants 4 million in wages and will get 30 minutes max next season
