In my opinion Zac was just the wrong man in the wrong place. He is a good coach but also he isn't able to change his way to intend football. And now he feels like a wife who has found the housband with another woman...

zac is a good coach, and mancini is simply more suited to inter's plan..
just as cuper needed to be sacked to smoothen the coming of mancini..

I respect zac

even if what zac said is true..., this is something inter need to do to prepare the team even before the coach comes...

zac is a victim of inter's plan.. but this is the plan to make inter win again

Victim, I think, is a word too big to use for zac... moratti and co. are wrong but they have also given him a lot of money to let him go away... and in the time he was with us the team was less then with Cuper.
I'm sure that zac worked as good as possibile to win something or to improve the performances of the team. But as usual we didnt' win anithing and none of us, lefting San Siro after a match, was happy about the performances.
But I respect zac, as I respected Cuper and the others before them.

And it wrealy dosen't matter anyway...we have Mancio now..I'm so glad that Cuper was fired and Zac leaved us. I didn't like any of them..Maybe they are good manegers but not for Inter, Zac was crap, Cupers playing stile was boring.

Zacc hits back at Inter

26 Aug 2004

The coach reveals that he was lining up his new recruits this summer whilst his future-replacement Roberto Mancini was already deciding what changes he would make when he took over.

"Before my departure I was preparing my team with a few officials, but from the other side, Mancini was preparing his team with Gabriele Oriali," said Zaccheroni.

"The difference between Milan and Inter is that the former have more stability at the upper levels.

"Milan never change their officials but Inter are always changing. Milan have one sporting director and Inter two.

"It's true that winning begets winning, but in Milan you are left in no doubt that it is a great club.

"When you walk into Milanello there are photos everywhere of the great teams of the past.

"At Inter there are no photos. The foreign arrivals don't realise that they are arriving at a big club.

"If a person asks say, Andy van der Meyde who [Alessandro] Mazzola and [Luisito] Suarez are - he would not know." :dielaugh:

:D

May be that is why, Zach and V.Meyde never got along.

Zach - Hey Vany, I am gonna use a formation where you will get to play alot.
V.Meyde - That's great news for me, Zachi.
Zach - I am a big Inter fan, do you know anything abt Inter's history ?
V.Meyde - nope !
Zach - What abt Mazzola & Suarez ?
V.Meyde - Who the hell are they ??
Zach - Dammit, I used to come to the stadium with my father to watch these heroes of mine and you don't know them !! I have changed my mind abt your inclusion for my Inter.

:)

Surprise of the day: I just begun disliking Zac slightly... Maybe he is right about much. :( But who the hell does he think he is!?! :irritate: But this won´t be why I will change my signature today. I already decided yesterday where I hadn´t read it. Mancini has done fine so he doesn´t need it (signature) anymore!

well, i was thinking...

and if inter was preparing the team for mancini, then we should be happy, since this year team is not really a bunch of players, but a bunch of players who have been planned for a good period of time..

this makes me even more optimistic about our team..

and as a fan, zac should be happy for us..

I think there were signs early last season that Mancini was watching Inter very closely. At one stage there was an article where Mancini came out and stated that Inter should look to purchase Veron and that his acquisition would allow the team to make a leap in quality. Also, a few days before Inter played Lazio in Rome last season, Mancini openly admitted that he wished he had accepted the offer to coach Inter in summer. And then there was the recent statement at around the time of Stam's transfer when it was revealed that Mancini had been trying to convince Stam to choose Inter as his future club. These points highlight the fact that Mancini has been Inter bound for some time. Anyone who believes Mancini was suddenly brought in on a whim with little planning is missing the fact that he had been following Inter's progress very closely and for quite some time.

With regards to Zaccheroni, I had little respect for his tactical knowledge and am glad that he was shown the door or decided to walk. I am sad that as a fan, by deciding to take on the position as Inter's head coach, that his perception of the club may now be tarnished but it also sounds as if he is bitter about the way he was treated as his late release prevented him from finding another club.

I am confident that Mancini can get the most out of Inter's players as it is obvious that he is well respected and that the players are willing to fight for him.

I agree that Mancini was aware of the fact that Inter wanted him, and that he was likely to be our coach this season.

But he was still very focused on Lazio. He was in a strange situation since he was battling with us for the last CL spot.

I remember an interview he gave to Eurosport last January, just after Inter signed Adriano and Stankovic. He was so pissed off at Lazio's management for letting Stanko join us!

Well, I just wanna know how do you guys feel about this guy, I kinda liked him when he was with us but he was not that successful in making a better team that would content with Juve and Milan in the Serie A.

His 3-4-3 formation is unique but my question regarding him is because he is a respected coach and many of us here were even sad when he failed with Torino to secure a good result chain in the 206-2007 campaign but now he might be coming here to Egypt and coach Zamalek and I want to know how do most of people here feel about Alberto Zaccheroni

Well after having the defensive DNA imprinted in our team's genes,Zac's biggest contribution was liberating us from them...

He also made Recoba-Adriano partnership look good.Probably the best performances by Recoba at Inter were under him.

how about liberating us from defensive DNA to the tune of losing 5-1 to arsenal at the san siro?

Well you need to see how we played with Cuper and how we played with Zac.I hope that your not judging him by one game but even if you are,Arsenal were owning us especially during the time we had two players out...I am sure Canna was out on the sidelines when they scored two.

That doesnt matter right now you can just view the way we played against Milan with Cuper and with Zac to get a better view of how things changed..

5-1 wasn't a result that reflected the game as a whole. We were far more dominant when we won 3-0 at Highbury than when Arsenal beat us 5-1. Three of their goals came in the last five minutes, the last two after we'd given up.
