Different profiles imo. I don’t know the American, but given the video you posted he seems like a powerhouse type of midfielder. Great strenght, tackling, long distance shots etc. Wieffer is more of a playmaker, dictating the rhythm of the game, with good defensive awareness.

But I can’t understand how people can see him and say he’s just a tall pure defensive midfielder. What are you watching?

Its serie b and he could be ass for all I know but from that video he had a lot more.

- He clearly has good vision based on some of the passes
- He took and scored a few free kicks
- He made some incredible recovery tackles
- He dribbled out of some tough situations

I usually hate signing players like this but somethings really stood out: How he made some passes with both feet. He could be a hidden gem

Actually that channel just did us a favor few days ago, by uploading a compilation videos (a good one actually) with a title "Joaquín Correa is Just Too Good!"

Some Turkish fan seems bought it.

Stat wise this Tanner seems good, video also looks good but it's serie B and that Correa video above remind us that we may need more confirmation about if he a hidden gem or the next Gagliardini.
So leaving him on loan there would be the right move. It remain to be seen about the counterparts deal too, if it's an okay deal or not.

This is a transfer I actually like. It's weird there is not more excitement about this one. He could be really good. For us or for future very solid plusvalenza. They are talking about him as a future of Slovenian NT alongside Šeško. They also came from the same club. He is usually on every list of biggest talents in Europe.

My only hold back is it in Serie B, cause even Gags was like Pogba in Serie B back then.
With that said, I am confident in the management, feels like another Bisseck deal.

For the record, I think he and Gags are 2 different types of player, the styles are so different, I am merely referring to the Serie B can make average players look great.
