Chiesa pre-injury was another prospect entirely. Still, I wouldn’t entirely write off a comeback if he finds the right system for him. Although I never expect him to look as threatening as he did in the 2021 Euros again.

Not washed just not as good as people hyped him up to be after 2 good season at fiore.....
It s like you guys have forgotten the schicks/piateks/jovetice/Suazos of this world.
2 good seasons at an upper midtable club in serie a means shit....MAybe he aint that guy.

I m not saying he has no potential but stop acting like he is/was that sure bet.... Chances of him playing at westham in two season are about as big as chances of him becoming an absolute WC player.

Like how can he be washed when his biggest achievement is @21 goal season at fiore. I thought one has to achieve something big before one can even be called washed

Henrikh Mkhitaryan is a world-class player.

Darmian and Acerbi are quality players as well.

That I’m sure Chiesa could work as well. As long as Piero, Beppe and Simone agree and have a plan for him.

Gazzetta said that Juve asked for informations about Frattesi but Inter wants not to sell him. Days ago a well known channel from Milano talked about a swap between Chiesa (+20 Mil) for Frattesi.

Probably an unpopular oppinion: Doubt it's true but given the situations the players are having for me a swap wouldn't be that bad. I like Frattesi but Chiesa is also really good when he's on top form. Inter needs some good players upfront and can afford to give away a midfielder (remember we have 5 midfielders for 2 spots, they could all play from start). The only question is where would Chiesa fit in our system. Vice Dimarco/Dumfries or maybe behind Lautaro?

Some people seem to forget that Frattesi is only 24 years old. He scored valuable goals coming in as impact sub! I'm extremely happy with His contribution so far.

Would not swap Chiesa for Frattesi, not even direct swap, let alone paying extra for Chiesa LOL.

If Chiesa will accept a contract offer to join on a free on Inter's terms next year, fine. I see him as RM and could be useful. However, he does not seem to be the same player as before his injury, certainly won't lose any sleep if he goes somewhere else.

Wan-Bissaka can't wait to join on a free to replace Darmian.

Their market value is currently at 35M for both, however we know Chiesa's contract expires next year and it won't be extended.

So no thanks, Inter can have him for free if wanted.

Lukaku was in his prime which was reflected in the huge transfer fee. The others were not in their prime but had not had careers defined by injury. Theoretically Stefano Sensi should be at the peak of his career at 28, instead he's struggling to find a club because his career is now mostly defined by injuries, as Chiesa's is close to being.

Chiesa on a free in 12 months time would be a deal worth looking at if he manages a reasonable number of games this campaign, but paying money for him now would make no sense as would swapping him for Frattesi. That said, I'm hoping for a lot more from Frattesi this coming season - his good stats mask somewhat his footballing limitations. Ditto Thuram.

He's a footballer who would have just as readily signed for Inter if that was the best offer open to him at the time. A footballer, not a cunt, a shit head or a rat fucker. It's not that hard to reference him in human terms.
