assing when counterattacking is Thurams real weak point
Having time to make a decison is where he usually fails.. a player that needs space and to be moving at all times to be effective.

We should first offload Frattesi somewhere and find his replacement before we also offload Asllani. At least Asllani was useful this season.

I know we got Sučić but idk about his position at Inter atm

This is the forwards thread so I'll mention what Sky Italia reported 3 days ago:

Udinese’s Lorenzo Lucca in high demand as Inter and Napoli show interest

He is tall and Italian, seems to fit the profile. Plus he scored double digit in 23 matches so far.

Is he good enough for Inter already? I wouldn't say so.

He's doing good at least, but Inter shouldn't take the bait already. Give him some more time to prove himself at this level, and then we'll see.

His price will go up most likely, but there will always be promising talents whom Inter could include as counter parts in case of a potential transfer.

I don’t know about Lucca. Imo we do lack a targetmen from the bench which would allow us to play the longball when the game asks for that approach. Lucca could be that player. But he would never be good enough to really start games for us. So his use would be kinda limited.

I'm also not excited by Lucca, but we do seem to miss an imposing forward.

According to Tuttosport, Inter might prioritise negotiations with Napoli if they are willing to include Raspadori in the deal.
I really like Raspadori, but he's similar to Castro.

I’d be fine with Raspadori as a fourth choice behind the main pair and a Castro-like newcomer, but am not sure Inter’s management see him like that.

We need hard cash for Frattesi as there are not many other players who we can sell for decent money.

I think Lucca would move to be third choice and back himself to be a starter. I also think he'd develop with us. He has all the raw skills needed and is obvsly mentally strong. He's 18m

Compare him to Scamacca (whom i like) for example - someone else we looked at - and he's more consistent and has more potential. I think he'd be worth a gamble. Different profile to our other forwards and gives different options.
I like Raspadori but think he left Sassuolo too soon and hasnt really progressed and am not convinced he's good enough, even as a 3rd striker.

Scamacca would fit like a glove in our scheme, but I'm not sure if having him, Lautaro and Thuram at the same time would've been a good idea. Otherwise he's such an entertaining player and would bring another dimension to our game. He's managed to redeem himself at Atalanta, but he's also been quite unlucky with injuries.

I dont think he's redeemed himself and still has it all to prove but if Gasperini cant get the most out of him then who can?
He seems to have mentality issues.

He pulled some good numbers last season under Gasp's regime. If it wasn't for these recent injuries, he would've been killing it. I mean, it's hard to build momentum once you're having these breaks of injuries. Definitely a quality player, but it remains to be seen if he's gonna be able to comeback and overcome post-injury challenge. He's still young though, and has so many good attributes.

For me, he's on another level compared to current attackers of Italia. Easily a better striker than Retegui, Raspadori, Kean, and of course Lucca and some other emerging names of the league.

I think he could be on another level but still has moments of laziness and doesnt seem to ever want it enough.
I'm not questioning the guys ability/quality btw.

Scamacca has played 5 minutes in this season. 5 minutes.

It's worse than Dybala, who is also too injury prone.

I’ll say it now before we inevitably sign him - I don’t get the Castro hype at all. A much worse Lautaro who wouldn’t bring anything new to our attack.

Certainly not as good as Lautaro or Thuram, but he's definitely far better than what we've seen from our current backups. I'd agree if you said that it doesn't mean much (since our backups were below pathetic ), but at least he has goal instincts and seems to get in chance easily. For a team that creates a lot of oppportunities throughout the match, I think he would be a pretty good addition, as long as we don't overpay for him.

I've also said earlier, he's typicall a hard working striker and seems physically strong for his size.
