I like the profile of Castro at Bologna but the club really needs to get this, or any other striker move right in the summer. While we are getting rid of deadwood at the end of this season it looks like we'll be stuck with new deadwood in Taremi - he has a three-year deal and won't be moving in a hurry. So if we're saying that he'll be the fourth choice, then we really need a third striker who can step up and challenge Lautaro and Thuram (and boy does Lautaro need genuine competition).

That seems a big ask for a youngster like Castro or a youngster in Pia Esposito who could be in contention for some involvement too.

Actually apart from the goals I really like Taremi as a play style. He is smart player and always likes to link with his teammates.
Bear in mind that for a substitute is more difficult to have a impact because of the lack of constant playing minutes. Except some players like Ole gunar soleskaer who were born for impactful subs.

Or our very own Julio Cruz

It's expensive gamble for Man U, because they are in deep banter era, just changed another coach, there is no real strategy for the club, and they put too much pressure and exceptions on players like Zirgzee.
If we can get him on loan with a decent option, this won't be expensive gamble for Inter. Our environment is perfect, the players are united and Zirgzee will come as a supplementary player, which will allow him to regain his confidence.
Imo, we shall look in those kind of deals as we don't have money enough to buy some star.
And, I'm on favor for such a move, instead of spending 20-25mln on someone like Castro, who is linked to us recently
Agree. But if you were Zirkzee, why would you join Inter instead of a reunion with your former Bologna coach Thiago Motta?

BTW Giuntoli already contacted his agent for a move and Man Utd are said to ask for at least a loan with obligation to buy.

Use the Frattesi money for Zirkzee and we are done!!!!!!!!!!!!
11 goals for Bolonia playing only half-season due to injury.

Inter 100%, always join the stable team that suits your playing style.

No point reunion with your ex coach when the coach himself is struggling in the new club. There's a considerable chance the coach will be gone very soon.

So he's likely to have a big salary already, and we're on a course to lower the wage bill. Zirkzee, Osimhen or David are only available if we sell Thuram or Lautaro.

Osimhen it's another level from all of this names, included Jonathan David. Have Osimhen - Thuram when Lautaro is out of form is too much of a luxury for i guess?

Yeah that would be some quality depth. But impossible on many ways; costs, transfersum and wages and besides that hoe doesn’t fit in out lockerroom I guess.

But can't Frattesi/Acerbi/Arna/Correa wages make room for Osihmen? just asking, i would sacrifice some depth for a super striker.

He wants to start. Wages are the least of our problems there

I mean, how is this even a thing in professional level. Starting spot has to be earned through impact and productivity. You cannot demand a starting spot in a serious team.

It's not the first time I'm seeing such thing has "X player wants starting spot guaranteed" for a potential transfer.

A coach will always choose the best starting eleven, unless there is a problem that isn't pitch related.

I agree with everything you said, I'm just saying why he probably wouldn't want to come here until one of Thuram or Lautaro leave. He is in his prime and he knows what he wants

Osimhen's current contract is worth a similar amount to what we pay Bastoni and so, even if he joined on the same terms, that would make him the 6th highest paid player in Serie A. On the basis that Inter have five of the seven best paid players in the League already, and the goal is to reduce the wage bill, then there's no chance of any interest.
