Absolutely. Only chance he comes here is if we sell Thuram. Im assuming hell go to a mid table prem club. But we need another striking option. Oaktree want this U25 policy but also dont want to spend. This guy is probably their best opportunity to make a statement transfer given their lack of commitment to spending and obsessing over younger players. This is a must get transfer to me. And if he doesnt it needs to be because he didnt want to come here. Not because we cheaped out.

Zirkzee would be a good fit here in a two striker system. But ofc he will end up at Juve.

Marotta recently said we ain't gonna do shit in january and somebody can correct me, but so far he wasn't really playing gaslighting games with his statements, at least in terms of transfer activity. So yeah I have zero hopes for anyone in january let alone chiesa, although it would be nice...

Ill pass on Chiesa if it means we wont get David. If we dont sign David in the summer I'd be open to tossing Liverpool 5-10 million for him.

Even if Zirkzee doesn't fit into Amorim's longer term plans for Man United, loaning out a 45m euro signing after just half a season would be such a public admission of administrative incompetence that I just don't think anyone would be brave enough to sanction it. Very different situation from Chiesa who was a low-cost gamble and would be a low-cost loss.

has Chiesa played at all for Liverpool? I watch them because of Diaz.... and um... dont remember him playing or scoring. So dont understand the hard on to bring Chiesa here

says he has 78 minutes of game time this year.... I remember the game he came on for 1 minute haha .... the other 2 appearances not so much. Unless it's a free loan + they pay his wages.I dont get the hard one for him. He is going to be on the bench.
