I'm not. But I already know we'll just have to power through this season and hopefully not crash out of CL too fast, because we reeeeeally need that money.
It seems this has to happen if we want to get rid of him. I honestly expected he would realize certain things on his own, mainly that he isn't good enough, just based on his evident frustration and even embarrassing moments from last season, so why put yourself under that type of pressure again, but I think i m wrong. Hopefully in august when push comes to shove we put some pressure...we ain't getting anyone in attack, cause our management is too scared to tell Arnautovic to fuck off.

Player must either has high profile or good enough to convince Saudis to pay double. Not a 35yo nobody whose peak is at Stock or Bologna.I don't think it's necessarily about money. If he wanted to make himself available, some arabian team would probably pick him up for double the salary he has in inter.
I suspect it's the desire to prove himself on a higher level that really fuels him. He basically wasted his younger years being slightly above mediocre, and now he wants to prove he can operate on the highest level, but the problem is it's too late for that, his body ain't the same...
I agree with this and then when everything wasn't going great (injury and shit) he seemed to crumble a bit under the pressure.I don't think it's necessarily about money. If he wanted to make himself available, some arabian team would probably pick him up for double the salary he has in inter.

8mln loan + 15mln obligation is 23 in total. I recall that Genoa wanted 30-35 from Inter. Fucking twats
That's not true, you have a lot of washed up players playing in arabia right now, and the thing is they make a difference cos the league is still not good enough. And arna despite me being critical of him ain't nobody, he had a decent career so far both on club and international level. Players with much worse resumes ended up in arabian clubs and still playing there.Player must either has high profile or good enough to convince Saudis to pay double. We are still missing something in the attack. Right now we have 3 center forwards and one support striker. Then there is Carboni who I think could be developed into a second striker but it doesn’t seem like Inzaghi agrees.
So we really don’t have a Thuram replacement in our squad. That to me is a bit concerning because I feel like he is the type that could have a sophomore slump. Taremi and Arna aren’t inept at combination play by any means but I don’t really love the idea of either partnered with Lautaro for long stretches.
That would probably mean a return to the prior version of Lautaro that had to drop deeper and do the dirty work.
I do think signing someone in the mold of a Gudmunsson makes sense from that perspective.
Then why is there no offer on the table? Him rejecting or not is a different story. That's not true, you have a lot of washed up players playing in arabia right now, and the thing is they make a difference cos the league is still not good enough. Latest narrative is that Arnautovic will stay, just in case Gudmundsson is found guilty.we ain't getting anyone in attack, cause our management is too scared to tell Arnautovic to fuck off.
