Bigger problem than anything is that Cancelo can be deeply unpleasant to be around. He wants to play, which itself is nice to hear, but he gets to the point of being a distraction when he doesn't play. Playing wingback would help mask some of his defensive inadequacies of course, I'm not too concerned about those, I guess you could do worse than getting him on loan but if that happens it's likely only a last day of the mercato deal because City want him sold if possible.

Bigger problem for Oaktree is Cancelo is 30 and has a massive salary. Next!

Whoever is the cheapest.

Oaktree-Inzaghi dynamic is gonna be interesting in the following years. Oaktree only want youngsters with resale value while Inaghi uses them only as a last resort. One of them would have to adjust sooner or later else this "marriage" won't last for long.

White dude reminds me of bastoni a lot, at least physically, it's like they entered "someone like bastoni" in some youth databases and this dude popped out. Looks like a good defender, but also raw.

Black dude seems more ready, which isn't surprising given the barca connection, and also has a great long ball which could be useful and seems more attacking oriented and relies on speed in his defending. I suspect his defending and positioning when defense is set up properly isn't that great.

This is the tough one, but I would go for palacios, seems more like a unicorn player.

I doubt we can get a deal we want with Barca. Will be probably too expensive, some buyback horseshit etc

- one free spot in CL list
- two free spots in Serie A list (because Bastoni is considered club-trained by Serie A rules).

But this one free spot in CL list should go to the defender.

Thats incorrect..
Here is the rule: A team can name a total of 25 players in their squad, whereas at least four must have come through the club academy and an additional four through another academy in Italy. Players under the age of 22 are exempt from the rules, and that’s the only way to exceed the 25-player limit.

There is no limit to the amount of over 22( other than 25) year old players it s just that under 22 year olds can be registered as they are excempt from the rules

Besides Inzaghi won’t give them as much as 5min as most of these would be deemed to young and inexperienced by him… we might just as well give Fontanarosa a chance as he is older than some of them.

Besides as other correctly state we used up our quota for plus 22 year olds, as the limit is 25 for serie A and 23 plus 21 year old for CL A-list.

We are currently on 25 over 22 years of age and 27 over 21 years of age.

Meaning some need to go before new ones can be brought in

Of those Correa, Satriano and Radu is causing some headaches as those are useless filler that offer less than a piece of wood, but they are fundamentally blocking incoming transfers currently

Actually, Asllani is counted as U22 because his birthday is on March and the date for this season is players born after Jan 1 2002. So he's off the limits too.

Meaning we would have 3 open spots in our Serie A squad atm? (again with the caveat Correa is out)
