Inzaghi favors the guy he can get. :D

In this case that seems somewhat optimistic, as Oaktree seem to be against any sort of player you cannot capitalise on. They already been vetoing players in that age group, if reports are true.

On a side note, I think some don’t really get the joke. A joke that isn’t as much target the mature player, but rather our club long standing over estimation of the value of experience, that sometimes get completely absurd.

I’m not exactly a spring chicken myself, so me making joke of it, just isn’t the same as when a young one dos it.

Inzaghi will favor Ricardo because thats who hes told to favor. I love Simone but he aint Conte. He's gonna take who he is told to take. Inzaghi aint a dumbass ofc he wants Hermoso over Ricardo. Thats like taking a Ford Fusion over a Rolls Royce.

Also the point of covering both doesnt even make sense. We have Carlos Augusto who quite literally covers both and damn well. Buchanans replacement should be a player who's an out and out wingback if anything.

His task is more difficult because of change of ownership, not that it ever was easy with our limited funds.

This is something I already speculated about earlier on. Because this is how such companies tend to act like, every thing needs to have a potential for gains, this is the main reason they desire and demand low investment players with high potential gains it’s all about money for them.

This by nature means they are against older players, that on paper will record a loss, even if these can come on a bosman or low investment fees, while the latter can help the overall balance as we seen on our accounts, it’s just hard to sell to this sort of companies who want all assets to generate for them.

It’s no coincidence what we got so far is a bunch of Primavera and a GK with that potential. I can guarantee that Taremi and Zielinski would never been approved by our new owners.

Oaktree gonna take Pavards knee out so Bisseck can play and they can get more for him next offseason. Then we can go spend that extra ten mil on that nobody from Arsenal.

Thank fuck Conte threw a hissy fit about him leaving. I never liked Di Lorenzo anyway, but he is absolutely done.

I'm moderately worried about right flank in general though. Dumfries-Darmian is NOT good enough to stake the whole season on, and they're both painfully one dimensional.

Watch him do 10 goals and 10 assists under Conte this season.

Too bad we don’t have the funds to actually buy better alternatives. At best it will be a sideways step.

Buchanon should be back by midseason. Dumfries and Darmian would start at RB/RWB for almost every Serie A club. I think were fine on the right flank. The team is pretty much already set for this season. The most important thing is staying healthy through the offseason. Dont really care about any additions at this point.

Dumfries is also exceptional in the air which is lethal when your other wingback produces some of the best crosses in Europe. Darmian is physically limited at this point but still hardly puts a foot wrong. I like our options on the right.

What is the chance that Arsenal would not slap a hefty EPL tax on Kiwior?

Would Arsenal agree to sell Kiwior for his net book value?

Am I alone in finding Di Marco actually a bit frustrating when it comes to crossing? Undoubtedly he does produce some great crosses at times, but it's a matter of consistency of technique and concentration with him. His bad crosses, of which there are many, are not even ones that don't reach a teammate, rather they are ballooned into the crowd or hugely overhit to skid out for a throw on the other side.

Bastoni tries fewer crosses but is technically way more consistent with his delivery.

He got less consistent as the season went on. Probably down to fatigue, he looked terrible in the Euros. Partially down to Spalletti tactics but he also couldn’t even dribble in a straight line without running the ball out of bounds.

We need to use Augusto more as a starter this season to give him rest. I also think he would benefit from the fear of knowing Augusto could take his starting role. Seems to me he has gotten a bit comfortable as well.
