Isn’t it obvious?

No money = No forwards.

Lukaku is our only option, and will be heavily reduced because is he will stonewall Chelsea.

Dzeko, Correa will fuck off.

So the only question who is cheap enough to replace them. And circa 20M > and with net salary for 3/4M
Lukaku cost money too. We will have money once we got rid of tens of millions of salary we are paying to those who are still under our contract.

Yes he will.

And this my opinion only. I think he realised he fucked up when left the first time.

He is content in Milan and I think he realises he can be pivotal if he is happy and that is in Milan. He will force Chelsea to accept fuck all.

And Inter need to Lukaku to accept he isn’t the 10M player he once was, instead 3-4M net.

Retegui seems the most likely option for that price tag and salary. I really don’t want Correa as our 4th forward though. He’s just not good enough.

Currently we have only 2 strikers - Lautaro & Correa.

I suspect Lukaku won't end up at Inter next season despite his best efforts, and Dzeko is rumoured to be Turkey bound - which I think is the right move for everyone. Dzeko is too old now to continue at Inter, we have squeezed the last drops of juice out of him already.

This is where Inter's budget needs to focus. We need two good strikers. And if we manage to offload Correa, we need 1 more who could be a talented youngster for the future. The lack of rumours of strikers being linked with Inter here is very troubling.

Contract expires on 2026... good luck on reasonable transfer fee :yao: negotiating with Lotito

How the hell can some players pen ridiculous contracts like that? Him or Berardi. Or SMS but fortunately he wakes up soon. That basically shuts down the door for any bigger teams while they are big fishes in small pond.

Because they prefer their comfort zone and guaranteed money than take a risk and try something new. Some people are like that.

He signed the contract when he was 30 and hadn't attracted interest from big clubs for a while. Can't fault him for taking it.

I don’t see how we can afford Balogun. Doesn’t seem realistic to me

Financially we can, he would cost around 35m in price and 5m/y gross in wages with growth decree. That would be 12m/y annually, given a 5 year contract, which means he would be cheaper than Lukaku. The only question is if he's worth the risk, we'd need to commit for 5 years and we can't afford another Correa situation if he doesnt work out.
