You say that with such confidence,
One would imagine you have first hand experience of Qatar or Qataris ?
Yep matter of fact I do but that would be anecdotal evidence. My confidence is based on the fact that the Qatari state did much worse.

Btw his wife announced that there wasn't foul play a couple of days ago.

This is going to penalties anyway.
This happened after Morrocco appealed to Fifa that they were robbed against France. I can see where this is goin. This amateur only refeered in first round. Maybe they should give Messi trophy and Morrocco bronze already.

INTER THE CLUB WITH THE MOST GOALS IN WORLD CUP FINALS
Inter are the club with the most goals in World Cup Finals, followed by Juventus, while Bologna have as many as Real Madrid and more than Arsenal and Manchester United.

The Nerazzurri have some amazing World Cup records. Not only they’ve had at least one player in every Final since 1982, but no club has had more footballers scoring in the most important and iconic football match.

As highlighted by Sky Sport Italia, eight Inter players have found the net in a World Cup Final, a record that will be improved on Sunday if Lautaro Martinez finds the net against France.

The Nerazzurri are followed by Juventus with six, while Brazilian club Santos have had five.

Zinedine Zidane was playing for the Old Lady when he scored a brace in the World Cup Final against Brazil in 1998, while Croatia’s Mario Mandzukic was the last Bianconeri star to find the net, four years ago against France.

Quite surprisingly, Serie A side Bologna have two, as many as Real Madrid and more than European giants Arsenal, Manchester United and PSG.

Bologna’s Angelo Schiavio scored the winner in 1934 for Italy and Helmut Haller found the net for West Germany in the 1966 Final lost against England.

Here’s the full list of clubs with the most goals in World Cup Finals:

Inter 8

Juventus 6

Santos 5

Bayern Munich 4

West Ham 4

Bologna, Lazio, Triestina, Real Madrid, Nacional, Sao Paolo, Penarol, Rot-Weiss Essen, Honved, Vasco Da Gama, Botafogo, Valencia 2
Not sure if Lautaro will get the chance to play, but I hope he wins.

Yeah, only because Lautaro is on the squad. Additionally, for Messi so we can put to bed the tired articles "that he hasn't ..." I think France will win however, just shadow Messi with couple of guys should do it. Giroud with the winner.

I'm tipping Argentina to win the trophy and Messi to score. Pays a whole $3.

Lol @ Maguire being included over Konate and Otamendi. Even Saiss or Pepe would've made more sense. It's very dumb to pick it before the tournament ends anyway. Tho I guess it alread ended for the English didn't it lmao

So PSG had 5 goals in the final. Where does that take them in those standings?

Maguire

Kinda felt E. Martinez was player of the tournament, but I don't mind Livaković getting that shout.

1. Argentina
2. Belgium
3. France
4. Croatia

These are the teams I see reaching the semifinals

Maybe Germany can surprise again, but I doubt it.

Too many injuries everywhere.

I'll be cheering for Japan to make Spain go home early. Also cheering for Lautaro and Messi winning it, this is probably Lautaro's only chance
Well, Belgium really soured my prediction :/

Can't wait to see Netherlands in the World Cup. Gakpo has been ballin'
Now everybody is talking about him. Him and Bellingham really showed that they can be true generals of their teams even tho they are young (Jude a bit younger than Gakpo, but still)

Would love either one of them at Inter, but that's impossible now.
