Apparently no LGBTQ flags allowed in Qatar World Cup because "they are a muslim country and you have to respect their culture"

Make what you want of that. Are they gonna prosecute gay players as well?
The press has been reporting no one night stands allowed either. Could be prosecuted and face 7 years of jail time.

So much for the wc being about bringing people together...

Let the players fuck, yo

I wish if there was one World Cup the best players wouldn't go to, it's this one. It would be fun

This is such a weird non-issue. Why even bring and wave around an lgbt flag at the world cup anyway? Narcissism? You'd have to be to do that in a western country, and you'd have to be completely out of your mind to do that in the east anyway.

It will be interesting to see what other restrictions come about. Drinking copious amounts of booze pre and post match could lead to some interesting altercations. Don't know how many "pubs" are near the stadiums tbh, alcohol maybe verboten save for hotels assigned to the punters. Imagine it will be more of a "Yes, minister" episode than a public piss up. Moreover, breaking the law in Qatar may cost you an arm and leg, quite literally.

Usually hotels got alcohol, but that's it. Mind you, I only ever visited a Saudi country by airport, no alcohol in sight

It was a terrible idea to give it to Qatar in the first place. Now everyone (except the muslim fans and players) have to deal with the consequences.
I don't really like to get involved in these conversations but I just had to respond to your comment tbh.

But based on your logic, it's like saying it is wrong to give the world cup to any non-muslim country because Muslim fans and players will pay the price for it.

Inclusivity is the word of the decade. While a lot of western countries don't like inclusivity, they still try to make it actually be a viable thing.

Some countries (like Qatar) are more focused on doing their own thing and keeping with the rules of the culture. But I think western countries, like for example England, have accepted muslims with open hands (even tho some mutter the opposite under their breath)

So I kinda feel you are equating two things that aren't really the same, but that's okay, it's your worldview. All in all, it's a topic that isn't allowed on the forum, I love all of my fellow interistas equally except for my gay lover Pimpin, who I despise because he stole my porn stash under the bed and sold it to kids on the corner.

I get what you're saying and I'm all for inclusivity and never said I'm against it.

100% agree that we're here for Inter and let's focus on that. 👍🏾

Not about Muslim or not. About those countries having laws that discriminate against certain groups of people.

That's all I will say on that topic before we go against the forum rules.
