Honestly, no, despite his age, Mkhi played over 3000 minutes last season, compared to only around 1000 from Tolisso. Mkhi's also willing to sign a cheaper shorter contract. And is there even a significant difference in term of quality between Mkhi and Tolisso right now?

We need a DM in the squad imo. Picking up a quality one on a free would be great. I certainly understand the issues with fitness though. It would be a risk.

Under Fonseka, he did great as a an attacking Mid. His numbers were great in 2020-2021 season. This year under Mou, he played DM mostly and still contributed 5 goals and 6 assists. I mean, if Perisic would have played DM position, would he get his numbers? I'm not comparing them really, just saying that age wise they are the same, with Miki half the money. At least here, Miki does not have to play DM so his rotational stints would be more of offensive midfield positions.

He did early years as a DM in SHakhtar. And this season he played most games as a DM, when Zaniolo was fully back. Under Klopp in Dortmund he played 10 and OM on the left and right. Gungodan and Sahin were the natural. DM's. Tuchel in Dortmund used him free floating AM with Auba in front and he did great. Then in United, Pogba and Matic were natural DM's amd he did his offensive play. Arsenal swap with Sunchez he did the same AM things. As in his first year with Roma. I mean he can relieve Brozo sometimes, but I think he would do better as rotating attacking mid. And most games for NT he did DM.

I don't remember, somebody from Brazilians had to move back to Brazil and Miki steppped up to AM position and scored 25 goals that season. I want to say it was Jadson, but not 100 percent sure.

No, Costa went to Bayern. With Jadson it was some family emergency, divorce or custody issue or something in that nature. So he put a request to stay there and then Miki took an advanced position. Yes, it was him.

Sao Paulo has completed the signing of midfielder Jadson from Shakhtar Donetsk on a three-year contract.

The 28-year-old had long been holding out for a move to the Tricolor since declaring his wish to leave Ukraine, and he has now secured his return to Brazil after seven seasons.

Kamara for free from OM would have been perfect. He has also played CB position. Sad thing we didn’t eaven made a offer for him.

There is a significant difference between Tolisso and Mkhi. When Tolisso is fit he can play like a top midfielder. Problem is he's Sensi level of injury prone. Not worth it. Btw Tolisso is a box to box, not a DM. If you want a DM from free agency then you need to go for Grillitsch.
