Probably the best option available for us at this point.

Don't follow Liverpool, but doesn't he get the injury bug on a rather regular basis?

Inter could be a good option for Firmino as well. He might get a lot of playing time here. But I think there are several clubs after him?

Julian Alvarez is not happy with his lack of playing time at City. He could be an option for us to take him on loan. PSG and Barca are after him as well, but he can be a starter here while that chance is small at PSG and Barca.

He's nothing special at all. I really hope he wouldn't be an alternative to Lukaku, otherwise might as well give Lukaku another shot, and this is coming from someone who is so much against extending Lukaku's loan for another season.

Guess, hopefully, he's better than Correa and cost a little bit less, else I'd pass. Inter's choices are so limited.
Oh he's certainly better than Correa. Dunno about costing less -- sure he'd be free but he'd demand to be one of our top earners. He'll also turn 32 at the beginning of the season and hasn't consistently been a first team regular for more than a year now.

Still, I'd want him over someone like Thuram, especially on a short term deal.

This who Inter are: " past performancer", with injury " issues" , old [32), on a 2 yr deal with options for the 3trd ( the only way Inter can make it work). Under the hopeful notion that he's a lot better than Correa (that's easy), Yikes, this "revolutionary" outlook is wanting. Sadly you're probably right.

Weird there is no record about his injury in this season. Judging by his injury history, it seems he is a professional who could maintain his body although I wonder why he barely features for Liverpool this season.

Younger, hungrier, and probably cheaper to loan than Lukaku.

He's actually a pretty good all around forward. He might not have a special quality, but he's good at everything you expect from a striker these days. He's not getting enough minutes at City because Pep play with a lone striker and he has fucking Haaland as his competitor!

Lautaro-Alvarez Due upfront could actually be an upgrade to what we have this season.

Firmino is a very good player but next to Lautaro I think lots of FIF members would break their keyboards and phone screens whilst typing their usual nonsense when it comes to any attempts they make.

He's not ideal by any means but he's by far the only affordable option that makes sense.

Will be fun times.

Sadly, he's also not the best finisher.

Still, he's the type of player that improves those around him so I'd want him.

We can't get a much better temporary solution.

To me he seems like a work horse who doesn't excel at anything. We have to aim for something better if we wanna upgrade our attack and I don't think Alvarez is a kind of player to bring the necessary quality that we need.

Yeah neither of them are clinical finishers but it is what it is.

Would definitely take Firmino, he's very versatile and smart player.

We would and should base our game on something else than our strikers' pure finishing ability.

I would still prefer Thuram by miles and even from his point of view we should be the perfect landing spot. At Bayern and Barcelona there is no way that he will make lots of games while he could get very important for us. So ffs get him asap

I haven't followed Thuram too much but what I've heard from people following Bundesliga, he's not apparently not too good playing his back against the goal. Which is basically the role he would get as being a big guy. :D
